Thumbs up Review: Nobel Son - a good twisted thriller tale

I chanced upon this movie at the local BlockBuster and was happy that I got a good twisted triller tale.

You will see many familiar faces in the movie. You have Danny Devito, Bill Pulman - who played the President of the US in the movie Independence Day and Alan Rickman who played the villian in the first Die Hard movie (where Bruce Willis has to rescue hostages from a skyscraper)

Well, Alan Rickman plays an egotistic, genius and womanising professor of Chemistry. He is declared the winner of the Nobel Prize and will get a reward of $2 million as the prize money. His wife is a forensic psychologist who works with the police department where Bill Pulman is a detective.

Now just as the professor leaves for Sweden to receive his Nobel prize, his only son is kidnapped and the ransom demanded is $2 million.

The fun begins when the kidnapper sends the professor his son's severed thumb.

The characterization of each character is really good. The story keeps moving at a fast pace. Dont miss any scene, especially the starting when the credits are rolling.
Go and rent it. Its worth a watch.

Check out the trailer here.
