Re: Netflix movies worth watching

Somehow for the utmost, home-comfort ( pause, rewind, paas-water break, nap and watching a movie in 3-4 intervals,.. ) and after this DVD mania and da cable vision has started,..
I hate watching any movies in d theater,..

it’s not like saving of the money,….. but keep in mind that,….. all R’ mere Insaans.
Many a times, the direction is not perfect, ( joining of scenes and cutting and trimming/editing ) and a scene was okeyed with voice/word not properly been pronounced,…. So I need to rewind few sectors, many a times,............
comic scenes,.............. say, you watched the previous scene with least attention and now it was of extremely important,..
so after watching d whole movie you may have to watch first 15 minutes again,….
Or few fight scenes , good love-makings you need to repeat,…....
and a cinema hall will never feeds you w/ any such home-comfort facility,.......…unless it’s a dvd or Netflix, a home-watch, and a remote in your hand,…! ( No pun pl. )

Good one. 3.25 out of 5.0

.
I enjoyed TEEN... a good story based movie, never letting the stardom of the characters over power the screen play.

From what I see in the documentary, it didnt feel like she is forced into it. It was a choice she made. Would like my daughter to be a porn star? no.
But after 18, do we have a say in what profession they choose? I think not, The max you can do is to be supportive.
Finished last 20 minutes of it when kids were away. It does touch on the choices and Sunny explains how she would handle telling her kids about her stint as a poem star among other such things.

Again kept it on, while doing other stuff and catching it in between. The story moves so slowly that even if you check once every 10 minutes, you wont miss the plot. It is more about elaborate sets Bhansali style.

The songs are good. It also showcases Ajit as Durjan Singh.

There is an interesting twist at the end.

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

If you can get a hold of an old movie called Droh Kaal do watch it. It stars Om Puri. Very good movie.... about how our intelligence agencies work to prevent terrorism. This movie is from the 90s.

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

That was long ago,…18+ yrs ago,… choco-boy aamir at that time looked like a 12 yrs kid with every heroine,…. And to watch that shitty long faced Karishma was as hell as hell.

Movie had done tremendous success at that time,.. and especially that song “ pardeshi pardeshi,…" qawaali,…. Just like that qawwwali of Hero, Nikaah and Bobby,... sung with a twisted Pakistani sounding voices,... .
It was a typical 80s movie of rona, dhona, Milan and judaayi,….. etc,..

Yaah,.. and watching Madaari now,.....

My kind of movie,... too good and holding one,...... low budget, just 20 minutes gone,...... But it's interesting,....

btw,...

Few are using einthusan.com too and are happy.
However, my browser does not accompany / support their new mp4 style of flash player's requirement, so will have to buy new computer soon,... I am still on WinXP-Sp 3.

A lot already might be knowing it, but this top grosser of 96 is a loud movie with over the top drama and Kapil Sharma style cross dressing comedy. I avoided it when it was released. The name itself sounded loud. I started it to check what it was about and looks like I was right in avoiding it. Despite my not liking it, not many in EC may like it.

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

^ RE : Raja Hindustani

80’s styled mentality, availability of other subjects-movies and material at that time, and people’s un-developed mind ( as per that time ) to view certain kind of cyclostyle movies,. ..and altogether made that move a splendid success at that time,… ! Movie was an ok time-pass,… just like manmohan desai’s amitabh movies, as if you watch today, like kaalia, amar-akbar Anthony, khoon-pasina, suhag and ram-balram,… etc,… you will feel the same way too,… J

I had missed, the two greatest movies of all da times,.. Guide and Pakeeza for long long time and had seen very recently,… and had just read and just read in tons and tons of it, for last 3+ decades of my life ( I am a vivid reader ) , in all articles, magazines,..but I did not find any byte of spectacular ( per, its propaganda ) in it,… ‘Coz, perhaps I did not see those it in its peak/glory time….. during that time J

In fact, “Guide” I found extreme sootiya mentality sort of movie, made for 1930’s mentalited people, the way Dev saab does drama in village of being a god-like Sadhu in village,..the superstition villagers,.. ( was so yawning, yucking and ultimate bore-dom ) it was the height of a maha-sootiya movie, imo I ever saw,…. But in one vdo IN YT, interview Naseer saab praise this “Guide” movie so non-stoply, for whole 10 minutes,.. that to him Sholey and all other were peanuts compared to it,….. and,.. I was like,.. “Oh my,… what did I miss so deliberately,…. - I found the movie in one day and watched it,.. !!” ( perhaps he was having its image of 70s, when he saw it in its peak time and of course its songs ! )
