This is the time to do your bucket list as you have mentioned.
How good is market in India for your skill set? If it is good then you don't need to worry about taking a break. Go somewhere south and beat the winter.

Bucket can be full anytime you never know. Best to keep doing your list all the time.. I know it's tough but then what's easy.

I have a realized off late, got to keep doing some things you wish to .. future never comes. Always it's present.

Whatever happens, please do not do this. It only makes people lazy and dependent. Better is to become an investor. Invest your money on small companies... make the employees lives topsy-turvy... suck all the money out... and then move onto another.

Yes - that's right. After the age of 45 , it is damn difficult to get hired as age bias creeps in . Only networking helps along with a core skillset .

This is especially true in IT .

Today was my last (paid) day in office. As of now I am unemployed.

I will be going to work for 2 more weeks for "hand over" which will not be paid. I agreed as company is in deep financial shit.

After that? For next 3-4 months I plan to de some pending personal work, bucket list reduction, etc. Then start job search

I was emotional today as several people were fired and I wont see them again. I made some good friends. My real emotional shock will come when I too get out after 2 weeks.

Jindagee ke safar mein rahein, milate hain bichhad jaane ko....
