Is Premium Economy seat on an airline worth the $45 on short flights?

Yes, you have a little more leg room and a plug point to plug in your charger. But is that worth $45 + tax?

No - if the pisshole airline that charges for pretzel and water and bags are anything to go by - the $45 is not going to get you anything additional. i'd rather hold it in near the sundaaz and not pay the $45

Okay... now to check your baghban impact.

If your elderly parents are traveling, would you pay the premium so they could travel comfortably and would you get teary eyed knowing that you did everything in your power to ensure they had a pleasantexperience?

Or would you throw them in cattle class along with the riff raff where they have to forage for peanuts and water??

My parents dont take money from me (i tried offering). If they did, they would insist that i book them in the cheapest fare.

I don't even buy premium for myself, so not for parents either.

Parents are a different issue - I'd gladly travel sundaaz class to save money so i can put them in business class seats.. but the middle class mentality won't accept luxury - even if it's offered - sigh!
