Thumbs down We'll not hand over any Pakistani to India: Gilani

Pakistan snubs India, wont hand over terrorists! Our leaders consider wearing bangles now!!

Now what? I see that bangle shop owners can make a killing by selling some to our politicians. Our government first begged the ISI chief to come to India for helping in the investigation, then wept like a child at United Nations to get Lashkar-E-Tayabba or Jamat Uddawa or whatever the name of the group to be banned, then declared no war from Indian side, then said no hot pursuit, then printed reams of paper full of evidence and passd around dossiers to every Tom, Dick and Harry. And now despite all evidence being accepted by the world and Pakistan accepting Ajmal Kasab to be a Pakistani, we have achieved nothing. Pakistan has snubbed us, slapped us and mocked us by not agreeing to hand over the terrorists we demanded be extradited. So what next?

We'll not hand over any Pakistani to India: Gilani
11 Jan 2009, 2005 hrs IST, PTI

KARACHI: In a rebuff to India, Pakistan on Sunday ruled out handing over to any country any of its nationals found involved in the Mumbai terror attacks saying "necessary action" will be taken under its own laws. ( Watch )

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said Pakistan is conducting its own probe into the evidence received from India on the Mumbai attacks and indicated that any Pakistani national found to be involved in the Mumbai attacks will not be handed over to any other country. India has been pressing Pakistan to hand over the terror attack suspects.

"We are conducting our own investigation and once we have completed it, we will bring the findings before the people," Gilani said, adding that the evidence provided by India was being examined by investigators.

"We have our own laws and we will take action according to them. We want to assure everyone that we will not allow our soil to be used for terrorism," the premier told reporters on the sidelines of a function in Sukkur district in southern Sindh province.

Pakistan is taking action against terrorists and terror groups and this will continue, he added.

Pointing fingers at Indian politicians, Gilani said they should "mend their ways" claiming their statements were stoking tensions.

Earlier, in his address at the inauguration of Sangi Cadet College in Sukkur, Gilani said Pakistan does not want tensions in the region.

The armed forces, government and people are united to face any eventuality and to defend the country, he said.

"No one can dare cast an evil eye at the country," Gilani said. "I want to assure you that this government will complete its five-year term and solve the problems of the country," he said amid reports of differences between him and President Asif Ali Zardari.

Pakistani authorities meanwhile extended by two months the detention of Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Mohammed Saeed and seven other activists of the front organisation of Lashkar-e-Taiba, blamed for the Mumbai terrorist attacks.

A spokesman for the Punjab government told reporters that the province's home department had yesterday extended the detention of Saeed and the seven other JuD leaders by 60 days.

Saeed and other Jamaat leaders were placed under house arrest for a month on December 11 last year after the UN Security Council listed the group as a front for LeT. Saeed's home in Johar Town area of Lahore was declared a "sub-jail".

The Jamaat leaders have been detained under the Maintenance of Public Order ordinance, which allows a person to be held for up to 90 days. Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar told reporters last month that Saeed and other militant leaders detained by Pakistani authorities could not be tried in the absence of evidence against them.

The Punjab government spokesman also said 10 schools and 18 dispensaries run by the Jamaat in the province had been taken over by authorities. Seven Jamaat publications had been banned and all copies had been confiscated, he said.

Among the other Jamaat leaders whose detention was extended are Col (retired) Nazir Ahmed, Amir Hamza, Yasin Baloch, Mufti Abdur Rahman and Qazi Niaz.

Though Pakistani authorities have detained Jamaat leaders, sealed the group's offices across the country and frozen its bank accounts, local media reports have described the measures as "half-hearted".

The reports have said Saeed, also the leader of the LeT, had been allowed to leave his home and that the Jamaat's sprawling headquarters at Muridke near Lahore was still fully operational.

Its time to take some strict action against Pakistan. Laaton Ke Bhoot, Baaton Se Nahi Mantey. Something has to be done to teach them the lesson. Earlier they were asking for proofs and now when India has given them the proofs they are refusing to handover the terrorists to India.

BTW as Cha Pai told that its time to earn a great revenue from Bangle Business, so I'm planning to open a Bangle Shop in which I will give special discount to our POLITICIANS.

Are we still talking about last year's Mumbai attacks? Well, attacks were condemned, inquiries launched, dossiers prepared, US was engaged, diplomats exchanged statements, evidence was shared, tables were thumped and fingers were wagged. I think it's time for all of us to move on!

Re: We'll not hand over any Pakistani to India: Gilani

You see Zaid Hamid's talking in Brass-Tak in video posted by Max.

There are talks going on for sending around 1.5 lakhs Indian Paramillitary Forces mainly CISF(Central Industrial Security Force ) to Afganistan.

After 26/11 India is planning to raise the numbers in CISF to supply to private sectors and protecting establishments in foreign locations.
We already have 20000 forces in Afganistan and thats why our Embassy was attacked.

This is the best response India can give as no body in World other than China can commit suhc huge man power to Obama. After IT Outsourcing probbaly we will handle "Terror Fighting" outsourcing also .

That is a nightmare for Pakistan with 1.5 lakh Indian Forces along with NATO forces on western border. If Indian Media and leftists can shut their mouth about eithics and few casualties,India will get sufficient aid to manage this. Pakistan is taing any how so much money to fight terror, we will do it on less money and more effectively and we have our own interest also.

Please do not hand over any terrorist to us. keep with you in your beloved country.
you deserve to have them. we have no place in jail and

Even Pakistan hand over them and Indian SC give them life sentance , but Congressi govt will not allow to hang them so why we need terrorist from Pak?

India can not punish the terrorist who living in India like SIMI etc and those who already convicted by SC twice(Afjal Baba) then why the heck we need more terrorist to put more burden on Tax payer money.

we hindu should apply oil on our A$$ and vote for congress fro next LS and ready to get fu(ked by congress again.
