Aadmi Aur Insaan 1969~ Dharmendra Classic movie

Watched this movie on youtube. A film directed by Yash Chopra.
Cant believe Bollywood was so advanced with technology during those days, excellent direction, photography and the tight screenplay which keeps you glued.
Firoz Khan and Dharmender at their best,Mumtaz as a vamp is also wonderful,Saira Banu somewhats looks like a mis-caste for the film.
Liked the shirts worn by Dharmender in the first half, hope I find some of those materials now

reminded me of “Cognac sharaab nahi hoti…” Rishi Kapoor & Sridevi from Chandani - whether he gets her jiggy or not is a different story but loved the song that followed after this scene :sigh:

Re: Aadmi Aur Insaan 1969~ Dharmendra Classic movie

Yash Copra used to direct nice Dishum Dishum and masala movies when he was not producing them like this one, Trishul and Deewat. His own produced movies were all Love stories. Though i liked his older ones Daag and Kabhi Kabhi and some of Silsila (a lot of kids that time were disappointed to head to a Big B movie and not find any Dishum Dishum)

Feroze Khan was way ahead of his time. Check this one. Apradh

Had a preview of it. Will definitely watch it when i can spare nearly 3 hours.
The aircraft breaking into flames scene special effects, though amateurish now, were a lot hat ke for bollywood those days.

Re: Aadmi Aur Insaan 1969~ Dharmendra Classic movie

In the memory of Swamiji, Finally caught up on this. Packs a lot of story. Lot of twists.
Friendship, love, patriotism, action, corruption, intrigue in those 3 hours. Saira Banu is stunning and Mumtaz is Sexy.
Plus a load of villains and henchmen- Feroz Khan for a good part of the movie, Madan Puri, Ajit and Randhawa (brother of Dara Singh)

It starts off as Satyakam but goes beyond that.

With all due respect to Swamiji RIP, the version he has shared is a bit hard on eyes. Here is the youtube video from Venus films which is of better quality.
