yeah heard that . Everyone who went to Hyd had a hard time getting visa . Delhi was more favorable .

SCENARIO:

• USCIS approves your H1B visa extension
• you visit your home country to visit family and friends
• you go to US Consulate (in your home country) to get your "approved" visa stamped
• the US Consulate officer denies to stamp without a reason
• You lose your apartment, car, furniture, clothes, electronics, etc. as you can't get back into USA.

Shouldn't USCIS deny the visa extension in the first place, rather than harassing skilled workers (most of them legal) ?

I missed my brother's wedding because of this. I was so scared to go to India (even when I had job and employer even had filed for GC) and face those idiotic consular officers who have become "babus' and disrepect everyone on the other side of the window.
