Kejri vs Nitish - who is worse?

Nitish's new proposed anti-liquor law :-

Patna: Determined to make drinking, selling, or keeping alcohol at home a more serious crime than rape or murder in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday circulated his new Excise Amendment Bill that contains rules that are being considered 'too draconian' for even an Islamic nation.
Sparking protest from both within the coalition and the opposition parties, the new rules allow some serious actions, including arrest and imprisonment of all adult members of the family living under the same roof, in the event of the discovery of alcoholic beverage from a home.

Talking to the media on the opening day of the short monsoon session of the Bihar Assembly, the Chief Minister said his decision was final and was not going back to make the law less stringent.

Can you believe this guy? I think he has lost it completely now.

He just wants to create income for the cops. They will now move around with liquor bottles instead of guns on extortion.

Re: Kejri vs Nitish - who is worse?

From thr daily shenanigans of Arvind Kejriwal as reported in the media, it seems he is doing everything possible to just go after Modi and is not bothered about governing Delhi.

As for Nitish, he is now proverbially stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea - the promises he made to the voters and his political coalition ally Lalu Yadav. Just today he reversed the liquor ban policy by exempting toddy from the ban as it would affect his vote bank of people involved in the toddy making process.

Prohibition has never worked anywhere in the free world and it wont work in Bihar either. Gujarat is an exception because the Gujarat police have perfected the art of ensuring good supply to the tipplers. Bihar is way away from Gujarat kind of arrangements.

Re: Kejri vs Nitish - who is worse?

Kejri is anti-national, inexperienced, incompetent and kamchor. Nitish is just opportunistic and perhaps an able administrator.

Arvind Kejriwal Reaches Dharamsala For Vipassana Course

DHARAMSALA: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday reached this Himalayan hill station for 10 days of 'vipassana' meditation course.

He will stay in the Himachal Vipassana Centre in Dharamkot - a tourist spot on the suburbs and close to the Dalai Lama's abode - till August 12, centre in-charge Pawan Sharma told IANS.

Mr Sharma said the 10-day 'vipassana' course would begin on Tuesday and would continue till August 11. The next day Mr Kejriwal would return to Delhi.

Vipassana is one of India's most ancient meditation techniques.

During the course, Mr Kejriwal would stay without his staff.
I wonder if this is a ploy to meet Kashmiri separatists under the guise of Vipassana.

How does this mofo brazenly go for a 10 days vacation? Fu(k I have been wanting to go to this vipassana meditation which lasts for 10 days, but as a working professional with family obligations I haven't been able to for the last 4-5 years.

Re: Kejri vs Nitish - who is worse?

From Whatsapp..

Re: Kejri vs Nitish - who is worse?

If the laws for liquor are stricter than those for drugs, more could ditch liquor for drugs. Udta Bihar.

just remembered that IRCTC came into being during Niku's short stint as the rail minister. He tried to do a Lal Bahadur towards the end.

Looks confident to be a PM choice too next time. He has thrown his lot with Kovind, possibly hoping that he would get invited by ores to form govt next time.
