Vilasrao may not get kidney, liver for transplant!

Driver who was to donate liver & kidney to Vilasrao Deshmukh dies. Family refuses donation anymore.

Read the comments in that article to see the love and support people show for the likes of him. Sad to say this, but this is one time where Indian Justice worked, in a very bad way for Deshmukh of course.

CHENNAI: The 31-year-old school van driver, who was declared brain-dead and whose liver and kidney were to be transplanted in Union minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, died at 2.45am ahead of the transplant.

Doctors at the Government General Hospital (GH) said he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Although his family had agreed for organ donation at 9 pm on Monday, they later refused by the time the police arrived at the hospital a little after midnight. An ambulance from the Global Hospitals was stationed outside the GH's casualty ward.

"We went back and forth, but there was nothing we could do. We took caution with every step because the van driver's accident was a medico-legal case. It delayed the process a little and we lost the patient,"" said a doctor at the hospital.

On Saturday, the driver was hit by an ambulance while he was riding his bike on East Coast Road. He was brought to the Government General Hospital.

The same day, doctors at the Global Hospitals had flagged a "super ultra emergency case" for Vilasrao Deshmukh. The 67-year-old minister, diagnosed with liver cancer, was flown to Chennai by an air ambulance last Tuesday.

So passes the glory of this world. I wish Vilasrao deshmukh's soul the eternal peace as all living souls deserve. I wish his sins are the last he has accumulated during his soul's course as a human being in this life. For his next life, I wish the person who was known as Vilasrao Deshmukh be born as a truly innocent soul tomorrow.

thousands of people wait in the waiting list in medical condition sufficient enough to undergo the transplant operation. He managed to get a donor even when his medical condition was preventing a transplant operation. I dont think this is justice.
I know people with relatives and friends ready as donors for kidney and livery donations, spendy a whole load of money and effort just trying to get the paperwork accepted - leave aside actually getting some cadaver ready for donation... Comparatively, the pace at which things move for Mr Deshmukh is e/m...

Hope he was able to live with the fact that the 26/11 attacks happened under his watch...not to mention, he took his son Ritesh and RGV to the site to shoot fillum.

It does not matter. Vilasrao was a very insignificant player in the evil that is modern India.

His role was that of a chotaa villain, if it was anything that. The truth is that he was a two bit player to the likes of the Gandhi family.

I wish his atma peace and hope he does not get mixed up with the evil the likes of Nehru Gandhi dynasty in his next life. No one of us here should.

If you loved him so much, why didn't you donate your kidney/liver to him?

Why should I?

Doesn't he have any loved ones who could have?

I'm no torch bearer of Kangees.
