Please remove the video... or move it to a new thread where you can post 'fun' songs. This is for classics... songs that stir memories from past... or songs that raise your levels of depth.

Hey, I listened to each of those songs at least three times by now. Thank you. For providing me with my latest obsession. Anyways, in that post, I've replaced "Joe Cocker - You Can Leave Your Hat On" with "Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Part 1." Happy now? ![]() |

).For some reason this is a personal favorite... maybe because of the story behind it... maybe because of the original video... don't know why exactly. Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton

Re: Nothing but classics
This is one of the first country/western song that I listened to and it put me on a path of exploration... of this whole new field of music. In fact it brought together my love of reading westerns (Louis L'amour and JT Edison and all) and the music that worked behind them.
El Paso - Marty Robbins

This song definitely has a western feel to it. You couldn't write a song like this titled "Boston" or "New York". OK. That was my first ever Marty Robbins. And the second Eric Clapton I listened to after Wonderful Tonight. Tears In Heaven sounds weary, resigned, or is that sad? |

Chalo bhai tum dono ki monopoly todte hai .
There was this song in Khamoshi called - Jaana Suno . Now it was a very good song , until someone actually mentioned the inspiration behind . It is indeed very mesmerizing . Your thoughts ? Paul Anka - Bring the Wine

Re: Nothing but classics
And this Paul reminded me of the other Paul... and a plethora of his songs... mainly his album Graceland (and this is also because of my recent trip to the place). If there is any album that can be considered a classic then it is this one, Graceland. Beautiful songs all around... and those African rhythms... hmmmm, heaven.
Graceland - Paul Simon

Try to catch Harry Belafonte's "Jamaican Farewell". Very good. Will post a link later.
