If you are a devotee of Lord Shiva, then you MUST recite The Shiv Tandav Stotram at dusk every day....!!!

I am sorry but that word stotram makes be laugh always. Does a tandav stotram grab you by your scrotum

No offense. Just what comes to my mind.

Sorry, thought I had put enough sorriness in my post. But then all the apologies in the world would not be enough to put a heart in a fanatic. Piteous

Re: Mahadev Shiv - the Supreme, the Ultimate

Where is Peaceseeker?!
I need to know if Shiv was a good husband?!!

I have had loads of elders telling me that If I pray to shiv and parvati daily.. I will get a good husband!!!!

My questions

a) When they say "good" .. whats the definition?
b) What kind of husband was he?
c) Was he the dominant..agressive types?
d) Did he help her in household chores?
e) Did he know how to cook?
f) How was he in bed?
g) Did he give her enough space?!

Since, the question is for PS, I wont answer it all... Will just take up Point f)... Well, it is said that Lord Shiva, after marriage, went into Pranay Agyaatwaas (Sort of Honeymoon) for so long that he just didnt come out of it for a very very long time.... Then devas got scared and had to plead and pray to bring him back to the normal world...!! Now whatever you can fantasize from this, will be your net learning on Point f)....

Re: Mahadev Shiv - the Supreme, the Ultimate

After all, Shiva was a bairaagi......

That reminds me of a joke:
A real cute young 'bride' checks into a hotel with her 60 yr. old groom on their honeymoon!
The next day, she comes to the pool all drained out, and dog tired.
When asked 'what happened', she says "I thought he meant money when he used to say he'd been saving for the past 60 years"!

DoA, if there is love, rest everything falls in place effortlessly/automatically.

I do not know the details, but the day celebrated as Mahashivratri is actually the day of Shiv-Parvati vivah. I dont know if any other God's marriage is celebrated this way. So, yes, this marriage is special and even I have heard elder women telling younger ones to do certain rituals on this day to get the "man of her choice".

RPS, over to you (in case u have the answers & the wish to answer).
