Mitr - a good film but quite predictable

Simply the best movie that I have ver seen in my entire life

A film by the NRI's for the NRI's and of the NRI's

The movie is totally in english , about a Tamilian NRI family .

I wish I knew Tamil ... I wud have enjoyed the little jokes in it also .

A must see for each and every NRI if he / she is married or is not a misogynist .

No Kidding .

I didnt answer it at that time as their was no such movie ....But NOw I can say yes their is atleast one movie which I can say is the best movie atleast according to me .

The movie is a must for u because :-

1.Tamilian Family

2. Their are three members in that family papa , mummy and beti .

Dono cheejen common with u ... i was thinking of u only while watching the movie kee kaash pelu bagal mei baithaa hotaa ....khilaane pilaane kaa bhee kharchaa uthaataa interval mei aur tamil ke jokes bhee samjhaa detaaa .

I am in India right now saw it in a picture hall ....in some city in India ....dunno whether it's on dvd or cd ....watch it on the big screen man ....worth the bucks ....asshole fu(k etc saare words hai ...very decently use kare hue ...no songs ..no useless crap ...the movie goes very fast and u dont even come to know when comes the interval all of a sudden ...and immediately after watching it u will feel like watching it again .

Par tumhare baju me mai hota to haan khilane pilaane ka to mai sambhal leta par meri ek samasyaa ka samadhaan tum ko sambhalna padtaa.. movie me romantic scenes aate hi mujhe bhi ulte seedhe vichaar aate hain aur mere haath idhar udhar bhatak jaate hain.. problem no?

Pelu darling jub movie kee theme beti ke upar based ho toh bade bade baapon ke vichaar acche ho jaate hain.

The daugher is entirely americanised so is the dad who has lived in the states for the past 18 years but the mom comes from a traditional tamilian family ...who got married at 18 stayed in the startes for 18 years and still is very simple seedhee saadhee bharytaa naaree ...jiske apnee beti se tuning nahin ho paatee ...

Picture dekhte vaqt aapke vichaar poorntyaa shudh hee rehate ...is baat kee guarantee hai .....
Watch the movie with wifey ..don't watch it alone...sort of thodaa saa suspense(not exactly suspense) bhee hai movie mei ....

Got to discuss about how and why she made such a film after the movie was over.

Saw this film directed by actress Revathy.

Its about a desi couple settled in USA. They have a daughter who is about 17. She rebels and wishes to move out and with friends. The husband is busy with career and has no time for wife.

Wife feels lonely and turns to the internet for company. Finds a friend on the net on Yahoo chat. Changes her mood and attitude. Husband thinks she is having an affair. Decides to leave her.

Daughter has realised that mother was caring and loving. So returns home after biy friend beats her up.

Wife sets up appointment to meet this internet friend. Friend turns out to be husband. Both surprised and happy. All ends well.

Offcourse I just noted the whole theme but you have to watch it for the way it was done.. Very classy and cool and good number of hints for all married couples, especially those in USA for many years.

The other things I did nto like were -
1) The movie felt like a desi masala version with liberal adaptation and modifications of You Got Mail
2) Many times the lead heroine keeps thinking and they show it as sound bites that she speaks. These were in Tamil and I could not udnerstand. Maybe they could have done these in English so "Tamil Illey" folks like me could understand it.

Overall... a good watch on DVD.
