What do you do when?
How do you react? In the drivers manual, they say one shouldnt react to road rage? But leaving that aside, I feel road etiquette are exhibiting a part of your personality the one that you know you can get by without someone watching you. Its not like when someone is stealing and realizes that the inside voice is watching along with some camera from behind. When you are on the road, one acquires a persona of a dont-care-about-others-but-me, this does not mean you want to drive over someone, its just that your priorities determine how you drive. There is no ethical dilemma about it. Should I honk or should I not? Sometimes when you are in a generous mood, you relax and forget others fingering your driving skills .. So I thought about this a number of times ... I tell myself, I am not going to get angry and I am going to be more watchful of my emotions and my thoughts when I am on the road. It is better to be not lost in thoughts and emotions when you are on the road. Imagine if all on the road were to drive with such things in their mind, the road would be a safer place. But in any case, to test enlightenment or even how relaxed you are, try driving in stop and go traffic or even speeding ones, and you will know how much patient you can be...

Re: What do you do when?
A nice music will calm you down. All you need to do i wave back at them and smile......
![]() Road rage will only increase your blood pressure , it aint gonna teach anyone any lesson. I have driven on freeways of LA and I am still driving. If I need to do this everyday, I cannot let this affect my health. Just calm down....... I just laugh and softly curse ... " Chya mai le hepu dhagad dhagad "... But I cannot get angry. Anger will kill you from inside........ Peace brother.....

There is no use losing your calm in such cases though. You are still driving and you want to stay focussed on driving. |

Re: What do you do when?
What do you do when you receive maa-behan gaali in pm or rep message ?
I tell you what I do - I ignore, after a small warning. I am not ashdoc, so please don't abuse me assuming I am ashdoc. And I checked your past posts. You are father of a young and beautiful daughter. :d |
