"Undeclared wealth or Black Money or Shady economy " is a vast subject, covering all underground wealth including Cash. Underground wealth is also held in the form of Real Estates (immovable properties), Gold, Deposits in foreign Banks and stock markets (Equity). The present demonetisation move by the Govt. can put pressure on only the Cash hoardings and not on other assets.

If this exercise is aimed to unearth the hidden wealth then I would say, the achievement is too marginal.

I say,..Stacked black money finds its way after marginal losses. In a nutshell, the rich will still retain 60%-70% of their reserves easily.

^^
About half of country's GDP is supposed to be black money. even if 25%* of that is flushed out with this, this is a massive strike. We will get the true pic only next year
* I am using upper end of your number 70% and adding 5% to it. So 100-75 = 25%

al.

If it is to flush out the counterfeit currency, then it is a big achievement. For that this surprise announcement is not necessary !

This surprise announcement of the "demonetization move" has put undue pressure and hardship on every common man.

Then why the facking haste?

Why 8th November and not six months later when they had enough cash for public?

Its a hasty decision with very bad timing and zero preparation!

What will you call a person who believes that the currency of whole nation can be changed in 50 days while keeping a physical record of every single note?

^^
Wow, you finally seem to be getting into Sabzi Tarkari wala EC Language. One big aspect of this is the surprise factor. If there was too much groundwork, the news would have leaked and the whole exercise would have been meaningless.

Waiting for cards to unfold

No flat prices will come down. Only date for possession will be delayed indefinitely.

Salaried people will still buy flats with bank loans as they are already doing. You guys will never be able to buy a piece of land with your income alone unless you are a selected few hot shot.

Secondly, Mhodi ji is unable to set any trap for hawala or builders that is why he had to burn the whole nation down to change currency. Bas ki hoti to ye naubat na aati!

not only modi ruined poor people's daily living but now he agreed on importing japanese nuclear reactors too to india and soon another fukushima nuclear disaster will happen which will swallow entire nation. before his electoral time get over india will become one of the poorest nation and most of the regions will be unsuitable for living due to nuclear radiation. taking swach bharath added tax and polluting india with nuclear radiation, ache din, ache din. abe ke bar modi sarkar . religious intolerance, beef ban, swach bharath tax, increased gst tax, limiting online sales, banning currency, increasing nuclear reactors and nuclear weapons, going for war hastily. what all indians needs to see till before his time is over.

bad, very bad decision, whole business sector in india is affected very much especially small scale sellers. impact of this is very large, some of the people going to get benefit is govt banks like sbi, non nationalized banks will lose all business and will close soon. poor people depend on them and no more easy loans. poor people loss jobs, almost all money transactions through bank only and people reluctant to buy, give wages to people etc. real estate sector full in stand still mode as all transactions need to made via bank to account for tax so no more people able to sell their property at good prices.

this the tax money from Demonetization spent well. Else you would kep forwarding fb and whatsapp messages on Delhi pollution. My take is that all this global warming wont go unless you go for N Power.
