Re: Raj Thackeray opposes Jet Airways layoffs

I am just correcting points with facts, it's no shape or form suggests my support to anyone.

Its not anti-north. Its just anti-UP/Bihar. In fact he has given examples of Gujjus and Rajasthanis and south indians as role model migrants to Maharashtra with respect to adaptability. He is against multiplicity of people flowing to Maharashtra and not against anybody coming to Mumbai from outside.

So I oppose Raj resorting to such tactics, which are clearly aimed at the coming elections.
We think that all politicians are fool and but its other way around, they make us fool everytime. He is no fool to dream about anything realistic this election or any near future election. He is thinking about long term. See how he turned this JET issue into his favour. When in fact he did nothing than giving awaj in paper. Nobody cares what CITU did or what SHIVSENA did or what aviation minister did. Raj made sure that he is in limelight.

Also to win elections (atleast in Maha), you need strong local leaders, not just one single leader. All this awaj to grab attention and be in limelight. You guys don't get news about how MNS is doing locally but if you read Marathi paper you will get idea. MNS is involved in local agitations against like electrivity boards, education scams, water problems etc. But only big issue is highlighted.

Quote:
If Raj was sincere, then when he was in the Shiv Sena and had more power and influence, he would have raised this issue then.
He did. Remember attack on Railway exam to attack biharis by SS? Raj was in SS that time. Also remember that Raj had no last word when it came to making decisions. In MNS he is on his own. When you run party you can't run your own agenda, party decided it.

Anyway, let Raj jump and prance as much as he wants. The polls will show him his place.
You can stay in denial mode as long as you want. He is not interested in polls or power in near future and whatever poll results be, he is gaining popularity among youth. He lost badly in Muncipal elections but he bounced back. He will lose again, but will make sure that his vote% is on rise and in next 10-12 years he will have realistic chance of winning.
