Re: Rape for Rape : What's your take ?

Rape is bad. Really bad - whoever is the victim. However, why do we consider only women getting raped? Not men?

Please see the US survey on rape statistics -
https://www.cdc.gov/violencepreventi...ReportBook.pdf

1. In table 3.1 page 18, the total number of women raped over a 12 month period is 1.73 million

2. In table 3.5 page 26 the figure for men is only 0.2 million

It appears that women are getting raped a lot more than man. This is because the researcher has separated "penetrated" (rape) and "made to penetrate" (not rape, but minor assault of non sexual nature). The figures for "made to penetrate" in the tables are female = 0 and male = 1.72 million. Also, if there were drinks involved, it is as though the man raped the woman, not the other way round.

Obviously women cannot penetrate. But we should look at "made to penetrate" as equally heinous, which we are not doing. That is why it appears that only men are raping.

Guys, what I am talking about is extra-ordinary serious. When a 30+ woman plays with a male boy's sexual organs (10-), it is as bad as a man of 30+ touching a girl of 10-. But we feel that the first one is a joke. The second one is perversion. But I know one such guy. I know what shit he is going through his whole like. Man, it is serious, very serious!!

Please, please recognize that when a teacher asks a student to "do things to her", else she will block his scholarship, it is coerced sex. The effect on the kid is equally great. If it is a woman she is called a "survivor" and hailed. If it is a guy he is called a "wimp". The effect on men is that much greater.

We have all seen such women. Yet we feel it is a joke, and not something to worry about. Ask ds who are your psychiatrists about the number of men who are hurting. Then you will know the truth!!
