btw, this Jaswant mofo is crossing all boundaries. Do read this piece from Swapan Dasgupta about Jaswant Singh.

This kind of sums it up.. how old timers from Advani camp are unable to cope and accept the new order within BJP. I just hope these 'ghar ka bhedi' types don't derail Modi Express.

Op-ed: Jaswant Singh, BJP's odd one out
How things change. Advani and MMJ* in those days were hardliners whereas Jaswant Singh was a moderate and both in different camps.

Well, his tearful thingy will surely bring him votes and may cost BJP 1 seat. Also do give him credit for the following -
1. Talks with Strob Talbott and the upward swing in Indo US relations and that after the duwnturn following Pokhran Tests.

2. Actually biting the bullet for the govt's messed up decisions and doing the unpalatable thing of accompanying the terrorists to Kandahar. Actually his diplomacy resulted in release of women and children in Dubai.

* For Swamiji - He is Murli Manohar Joshi.
