truth is that the so called ' golden period ' did not change the way we live inspite of the muslims having 1000 years to do that , and another 1000 years of such golden periods would not have changed that . it was the west that brought about real scientific discoveries and inventions , while muslims just remained praying to a non existent ( i am an atheist ) god five times a day .

the religion enforces prayer five times a day to a non existent god and you call it compatible with science !! in reality if you waste time in prayer five times a day you can do nothing creative except indulge in religious fanaticism . i know you are going to come up with the fact that christianity and hinduism also ask their believers to pray , but they dont indulge in religion religion religion the way muslims do all the time .
