go to
www.pakwatan.com
on the left side of the main page , under the entertainment main channel , there will be "listen to" headline and under it there will be famous names of pakistani singers like abida parveen, abrar ul haq, shahzad roy, adnan sami, nusrat fateh ali, junoon, hadiqa kiani etc etc etc... and all the old and latest albums including abrarulhaq's latest complete album "maal o maal" with its current hit tracks like "punjabi touch", "pretto", "jagga" and songs of other singers. u can listen the songs just after 2 seconds of your click on that song.
i know u will like pops more but i recommend that listen also my favourite "abida parveen" specially her song "kuch is ada say aaj woh pehlu nasheen rahey" under her album "khazana" ... her voice is really capable to wakeup any sleeping soul, and beleive me she is much more better then even USTAD NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN in quality, lyrics of songs, spiritualism and depth.. only condition is that u must listen carefully her songs.
(+ also must listen to "asad amanat ali khan's" song "ghar wapas jub" ..which is the first song in his album...it is really cool , wonderful and touchy song)
listen and tell me .............................

I just heard abida parveen's song that you said. Its fantastic but comparing her with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is like comparing apples to oranges. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is a qawwali singer while abida parveen is a ghazal singer.

My favourite group is Vital Signs. I don't know what happened to them. Never heard of their any new release lately.

Mushu hua laaal laaal..
Kashmir ke adhurey spane reh gaye
Aur kar gaye hume behal"

No doubt pakistan got few good singer like Nusrat, Mehandi and Gulam ali, farida khanam, abida pravin, infect I have good collection of Gulam ali and Mehandi hassan [ yup, a staunch hater of Pakistan like me, reason Music and arts has no borders ], I remember watching a adnan sami presentation in some award night on Zee, where he mentioned (and many time Gulam ali too), that they found real art lover and fan in India, where people understand what exactly the mean of Music, no doubts that the reason Adnan sami applied for Indian citizenship and nowadays living in UK to prevent from paki anger ;)

Anyhow if someone is real music lover and want to hear great INdian classical singer like Kr.Gandharv, Pt Jasraj, Bhimsen Joshi with many others, please visit Raaga.com
