My SIL got that from Chennai. Made with pure ghee. Even a sweet hater like me loved this one. Here is how to make it.. quite simple though it takes time.
Mysore Pak
Ingredients:
1 big cup red gram flour
2 big cups sugar
3 big cups ghee
Vidhi
Prepare sugar syrup by adding 1 cup of water to the sugar put it on a flame and wait for the sugar to become "pak" or liquid a little think do not let it go brown. Add gram flour and ghee evenly to the syrup on low flame. When the mixture leaves sides of the pan, add the remaining ghee and mix well. Then remove it from the flame and spread evenly on a greased tray (use ghee and not motor vehicle greese :D). After its cooled down, cut into rectangle shapes. Stays for a long time without refrigration.
Eat.. tastes great and has very
