forgot to add.. environmentally friendly (no need to cut trees for the guitar body).. and easy to store and carry (no extra effort/container/box), and always available even on very short notice.

i like electric because of all the pedal effects you can use to get a variety of sounds..i am currently learning the beatles song played entirely with sitar (the song is called Love to You) with my Sitar Swami Pedal its awesome.....i also have Grunge and Distortion

man squier sux so does ibanez if u want a good training guitar the best is Yamaha Pacifica...btw do you have the Squier Affinity Stratocaster or the Standard Stratocaster? Wat amp u got?

I have the Standard Strat -- bought it because it was cheap. The unknown clone looks a little like a Les Pauls and my amp is a Fender Bullet.

Padhu, the guitar that Rudy Schenker uses is a Flying-V, but it is made by Gibson Guitars.

I actually put up some pictures of my guitars on my webpage last week, but the friend who runs my DNS has had problems with his DNS servers. So I'll post the URL when he gets his DNS problems fixed up.
