Its amazing....... Aussies are already in India and no discussion here on this all important series... Hey guys, what about some inputs on team composition and strategies? We all can pitch in with our ideas on how to bring those arrogant asses down to earth. Meanwhile, here's a link with some good happening to team morale -

Let me know whom should I bet on in the match fixing so that I can make more money than having to go to Las Vegas.
Do let me know all the details like who is accepting what odds, etc.

C'on sutradhar..... I understand ur disillusion with cricket but not everyone is a cheater.... true to history, I firmly believe there're still some gentlemen playing the game even in this age and time. Too bad, I can't watch the games in US :-(

Yaar Ghasiara, believe me man, I was one among the few who’ll be crazy like anything for cricket, I still remember those day when I used to wakeup 3:30 am in the morning to watch the Benson and Hedges cup, but now Its felt cheated man, always be when someone drop a catch or somebody out making less run, only one thing comes in the mind, saaale ne paisa khaya he.
We all have to face a fact, and that is Cricket have completely loose his creditability (though there may be few exception there in Indian cricket too) but like Indian politics everybody seems corrupt now. Whats user of watching cricket anymore, better watch B4U movie instead, we all now Indian hero will survive in last, and atleast they are not cheating, they are serving same story since last 62 years :D:D

Ghasiyara,
get urself a satellite dish (dish network). That way you can watch if you are interested. You have to pay for it though, and that sucks.
Usually it is not worth the money (between 20 and 30 bucks / ODI). But every now and then paisa vasool ho jaata hai.
Then there is the issue of timing. The damn thing starts at about 10:00 pm EST and goes till about 6:00 am

One of my VERY senior fellow (Sir Newton) has already proved that For every Action, There is equal and opposite Reaction.
So till we have eCharcha like person who wants to bet just to make more Money you cann't get out of this. If eCharch kind public wants to make money by just sitting in the room then it's obvious, there will be an Equal and opposite reaction.
eCharcha tu Bet lagata ja, Woh khaate jayenge,
What's the Score hum phir bhi kehte jaayenge.

Sasur agar aise hi likhta raha to hum tujhe bhi aapne saath jail mai bula loonga.

Bhai Ghasiyara,
You don't need to buy a satellite and such stuff.
Assuming you have a decently fast internet connection, check out http://dd.now.com
Live video stream of all India's matches, and commentary by the Star sports commentators ( Shastri, Greig, etc.). I watched the whole ODI series between us and Zimbabwe without a single problem here. The video is good quality too.
Peace, and have fun.

Thanks kingpisser........ I'll try that right now..... but we've diverted from our original topic....... it wasn't about match fixing or receiving cricket in US...... its about discussion on series. I seriously wanted to discuss if U think Dinesh Mongia should be in team or what's Nayan MOngia is doing there..... who should occupy the 6th batting slot and whether we should play 4 or 5 bowlers. and as for those who feel cynical...... I too was as disappointed as u, but I'm an optimistic person....... match fixing or not....... I gonna follow cricket closely.

What I think, India Team should be
Ganguly, Rahul, Sachin, Ramesh, S.S. Das, Dinesh Mongia, Mongia, Agarkar, Jaheer,Srinath, Harbhajan and Robin Singh
at least they should try this team for the first match.
Harbhajan is in 'cause no one is good (as Kumble has prob.)
it doesn't matter which spinner is playing.....
However Dinesh Mongia didn't play on last 3-days match with aussies.....but one more chance to him.

i think Ausie will win the series whatever the composition of indian team may be !

Wont be that easy chief........see kya aisi taisi hui hai unki 3 day match mein????anyways I think considering the Indian pitches Ramesh has to play and personally I would prefer Joshi playing because he doubles up as a batsman and an attcking one at that and could prove handy if on the last day India is set a winning target which is demanding by test cricket standards.....Dinesh Mongia....well untested element I would prefer Badani and Laxman over him....but the crux of the Indian batting lies in who opens and how well they do it because the moment you expose the 3 musketeers(Rabid Gangu and Gitku)it becomes dangerous.....Ss Das did well recently so yeah probably should get a chance....Ramesh certainly......though hes got paralysis waist downwards but still his timing and lack of sideal swing conditions in India mean he will do well even if you blindfold him.....bowling mein again because initially the pitches wont turn so BHAJJI(Harbhajan) is always a risky bet...Joshi has loop and flight so better chances of economical figures.....though Sanghvi toom 5 wickets in first aussie innings in the 3 day so he or Balaji Rao could be tried.....Mohanty and Zaheer are the only options that are there in seam and so the team as per me
Gitku Gangu Rabid Dosh(SS das yaar) Ram and Laxman Moongi(any other keepers in the squad????) Josh Heer
(raanjhe ki her humaara zaheer... by the way anyone seen they way pindi express bowled against the kiwis????paagal ho gaya hai ullu ka pathha he was lightning quick)
Mohan Babu and finally badami(badani) if you want another batsman or Ro (Balaji Rao) if you want a bowler(or Sanghvi depending on choice)

agreed that ausies didn't do well in the first three-day match. but c they need a couple of days to adjust to indian pitches and when they do, they seem to be better than indians. even in the first match, see how well they played in their second inings!

I was surprised that they were given a slow pitch for their 3 days match...... that's the kind of pitch they're most likely to get in test matches..... personally I feel they should be made to play on hard, bouncy wickets in all matches prior to tests..... totally different from what we'll have for them in tests......... why let them accilimatise easily ;) .......... I remember when India visited SA, we were given the slowest pitch in our first 3 day match and then first test was played on what's probably the fastest pitch in SA, Kingsmead........ no wonder we were bowled out for 67 in second innings... as for the team composition, I would still prefer VVS Laxman for 6th spot in batting.......... the guy has been in amazing form lately.

Hello all,
Wazzup. I'm just drooling looking forward to the match next week. Man, we're gonna beat the Aussies asses.
Provided, of course, Ramesh doesn't open the batting.... sounds weird, doesn't it. Yeah, our pitches don't start turning until very late. Ramesh would suffer against the quicks, so I'd suggest opening Das and Laxman against the quicks, and saving Ramesh for number 4 or 5. Let Dravid be the keeper, he's quite competent, and a way better batsman than Mongia....... If you think I'm drunk, I am. But that's when I make the most sense.
My line-up ( and order ) would be as follows - Das, Laxman, Dravid, Ramesh, Tendu, Ganguly, Dinesh Mongia, Agarkar, Zaheer, Harbhajan, Sanghvi.
Peace, everyone, and lemme know what you think.

we are busy guessing who is gonna win this series ..but
the news spread all over India is , SAURABH GANGULY is busy with NAGMA(yeah u r right the Film Heroine :D)
many a times he was seen partying with NAGMA and recently he was found In Srikalahasthi ..a temple in a remote place in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Why is he there ?(performing puja to win the Ausie Series ? or praying to god for early marraige with NAGMA ?)
I Hope Ganguly will be more concentrating on the Game rather than some hanky panky with NAGMA ;)
request..
GANGULY bhai ..do not go the Azharuddin way .:D
was the match fixers were introduced by SANGEETA to Azhu ?

Agreed that we should not let any visiting team acclimatise early on and two we should also not provide them pitches which we ourselves dont find any good(bowlers point that is).....as for the second innings of the 3 day match bhai chief within two days they were 9 down and again for 369 I think that too against a second rung attack so I dont think they did anything worth mentioning...
And I dont think we should have them play on fast wickets because as of today apart from Zaheer we really dont have the penetrating attck required to take advantage of grassy pitches...Agreed Mohan Babu has movement but for that one relies more on things like wind(not the one from the rear end even though it might be helpful in propelling you forward)and moisture in the air etc. etc. like you have in England....so I think it would be to our advantage if we had slow pitches that turn and early on hopefully....the thing is we have more of the finger spinner variety and the Aussies have wrist spinners...slow pitches will mean batsman plays forward to negate the movement of the pitch and finger spinners having more control over flight and loop means they are better equipped....look at Kumble he doesnt turn the ball much but his advantage lies in changing the line and length though he doesnt give much flight...so slow pitches will help US more than THEM.....
Ram not opening seems rather impossible because the problem is if the pitch starts turning this guy will basically need pads of all sorts(including carefree and stayfree to save his VITAL bits) because foot movement to him is only a concept for the disco not the cricket ground and so he will be more of a liability then....since his brother Laxman is better in that department I think he can adjust better to the demands of the middle order where one has to face everything from Warne to Waugh....
Didnt want to play Bhajjia because I thought it might help to have a look once again at Sanghvi or give Baalu a chance but then maybe not....so Bhajjia would probably be a good pick
Still think Agar Hosh mein team select karein to JOSH(I)ko khelna chahiye because of his dual capability.....another one I forgot was Agarkar...I think he deserves a place too so maybe instead of a specialist batsman or bowler Agarkar would be better because hes neither...just depends on the direction of the wind in his case....if its blowing against him looking at his build he will bowl awful but when he bats it will aid him because half of the time the effort in flingingthe bat around will come from the gushes of the wind(again not the one dishcharged from Gilchrist's rear end after a spicy Indian lunch)

Ha ! Dude, Langot, I nearly burst open reading your thoughts on the team selection.... True, I take back my idea about Ramesh being moved to the middle order.
But about Bhajjia, he's been getting a look for 3 years now. The guy is quite clearly competent, and deserves a chance at last. Enough f**king around from the selectors by selecting Ashish Kapoor and Hirwani, etc.
Agarkar can move the ball around quite well, judging from his performance in the series against Zimbabwe.... trust me langot, he's gonna kick ass. Zaheer and Agarkar will make McGrath, Gilly, and the rest look pale in comparison.
Peace. PS - Those who aren't in India, watch the match live at http://dd.now.com . This is assuming you have a decent internet connection. The first good thing Doordarshan has done.

Snelly bhai maine MOHAN BABU ka naam liya to tha...thing is he is a swing bowler more effective in England than in India shakal to dekho uski and dekho bowling kahaan ki conditions ke liye seekhi hai........anyways team has been declared and srinath and pradsad are both out and MOHAN BABU AGAR MAGAR and HEER are all in though I was disappointed by inclusion of the other heer .......ek tam mein ranjha koi bhi nahen aur her do do?????bohat nainsafi hai bohat nainsafi.....Hirwani ko daala I wonder if he knows why hes in.......would have wanted Joshi.....rest is ok....Badami is in which is good badam rogan se maalish karr ke aaye I hope before batting
p.s. Viren bhai main Agarkar ke saath hon in fact I really think the guy has been sodded around too much.......give him a decent run and he will become India's leading al rounder as per me.

Hey langot,
I didn't ask for fast, green pitches for tests...... I merely said we should make them play on hard, bouncy, fast wickets for their matches against India A and Mumbai... then introduce them to slow turners in tests......... will be quite a change for them and if we're able to establish an early lead, then it'll set the tone for rest of series. As for my team , here it is -
S. Ramesh, Shiv Sundar das(Only because there's no alternative, TINA factor), Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguli, Laxman, Dahiya, Sanghavi, Zaheer, Harbhazan(Aus. aren't too comfortable against offies) and Srinath... selectors haven't chosen Dahiya so its gonna be Mongia for the test. not my first choice but I can live with it.

Sala Auranbzeb, teri maa ki ch**t mein chipkali ka l**d.
Anyway, what the f**k did your bloody Pakistan team do in the recent past ? For all your Islam preaching, there are still 2 non-Mullas in your team - Danish Kaneria and Yousuf Youhana - so don't let religion rule cricket.
As for the Aussies, bhai logon, they nearly got their asses whupped by Mumbai, and escaped due to some bad strategic play. Apna Tendu bhai, Gangs, and the Wall will whup their asses soundly in the first test. Shane Warne ka g**nd maarega Sachin, and baaki sab log ki gaand phat jaayegi.
Jai Hind. Hum aap logon ke saat rahenge.
Cheers,
