I think the move for the indian taliban has started very well in india. Few days back it was ban the valentines day....stating that it was against indian culture. Today...it is ban the Fashion TV channel stating that it is against Indian culture.

What next.....ban english movies and serials since they go aginst indian culture too...or myabe just ban english medium schools for that matter.

This bullshit has to stop and NOW...before it gets too late.......we say we have democracy.... i dont see any of these bans as democratic. Let the people decide what they want to do. Dont dump your opinion on others. This is getting to much now.....when will this stop????

Bal Thakeray's new nickname - BANch*d

Guy just wants to get his name in the news, thats all. Every time he feels his power slipping, he issues one of his FARTwas.

Bal Thakraey however happens to be far better than the scum of the land like...

Sonia Gandhi,Mulla yam singh Yadav,Lalllo Prasad Yadav,etc.

I guess Indians dont have too much of a choice isn't it?!!

Padhu you seem to be over obsessed with BJP,RSS,etc.
You also see to be over obsessed with secularism.
Every Country has its own Culture and some policis.
If some one starts being too much rational like you
then why should we ban smuggling,Drug Trafficking
etc, after all nobody forces some one to take Drugs.

USA where you all are living may stress on so much individualism,In many homes each Individual has hisown TV set in his room.

But in India today also many homes have single TV sets. Now You imagine ,can you see FTV with your sister,Mother,Grand Father etc.

If you have seen recently tFTV were over doing things,
in name of showing a carnival what was shown was at least
vulgar to me and my friends living in India.

I don't know about you all

Why would my grandfather or mother want to watch FTV anyways????I mean unless ofcourse they were both into Hawaiian shirts and swimsuits etc...so dont know if any family would ever sit together and watch FTV...I wonder anyways who watches FTV apart from despos because there is very little in it that they one can wear anyways and whatever they have they hardly wear it so one can barely estimate its suitability to everyday wearing....

As for banning....yeah well go ahead and ban everything.....and then dont cry when other countries like the US Europe Canda etc.....all ban you from having your temples and festivals etc.... because its not THEIR culture....then you can go to churches and bajao your ghantis and go om jai christhare

randheer...i have not mentioned in my post anything about RSS, BJP...its you who are deducing that they are behind it. If every country has secularism then why do u think you are much better off than afghanistan or pakistan for that matter. For their goverment also impose restrictions on the masses, not realising what the masses want. Its not a question of banning FTV or who watched FTV for that matter....its a question of democracy and principal. Those who want to watch can watch it...those who dont want...they wont watch it.....who are they impose restrcitions on anyone as to what i should do and not do. You and I are not dumb to decide for ourselves as to what we want and dont want. The more the restrictions the more teeth these hooligans get to destroy property.....go read the different news articles about the amount of damage these vandals imposed on valentines day. Today its jusy valentines day and FTV...tomorrow it might be something else...and the list will go on. Right now u might like it because u might sympathise with them on this issue...tomorrow u might now...then what r u going to do ??????

If anyone wants to protest against the Valentines day, they should do it peacefully and not stop people from observing it. Valentines Day promotes love, yes love and not hatred.

Any of you watched "People Vs Larry Flynt" ?? a very convincing movie about freedoom.... U may not agree with him, but atleast he fought for people's right to choose for themselves....

If someone finds something objectional or vulgar then he or she should refrain from watching that TV channel but should not impose his ideas on the others I for one would love to watch these TV channels who the hell can stop me from doing so.I hate to see women in Ghoongats etc.So should I collect like minded people and lift their Ghoongats.Religion and culture are very personal things which should be kept witin the boundries of the house!.

As long as this vulgarity is not imposed on anyone it's not a crime. No one is forcing women of India to strip!!.These culture police are sick people.I would hate India to become a Taliban like country!.
