HI FELLOWS,
if u r viewers of hindi cinema then u can better imagine that in past, and not very far past but i am talking about near past that in that time all the actors and actresses (almost) were self made they made their own life and career. their are dozens of examples like dilip kumar, amitabh bacchchan, anil kapoor, shahrukh khan, amir khan, juhi chawla, rekha, sri devi, madhuri, manisha koirala, urmila, etc etc . even raveena tandon was a daughter of director but she never take advantage from it, and did her own struggle, even karisma was a kapoor family girl but she also struggle on her own and suffered very badly in her early years through small budget and un important films and suffer like any ordinary girl and take this position after 4 or 5 years of hard work.
but
what is happening today?????? there is a very unfair monopoly of star sons and daughters and new comers which r not stars' santaan , are not wel comming in industry and those who come, are not getting their due share like arjun rampal and amisha patel even after 2 block busters.
on the other hand , every ongi bongi, lallo panjoo and bongi star santaan is getting unfair share like very bonga son of jeetendar ie toshar kapoor , agar yeh larka jetendar ka beta na hota to ussey koi extra bhi cast no karta. another example is kareena , every big budget and xtra hiped film is offering to her even after 4 flop and one average film, even after dead flop yaadain subhash ghai cast her in his next film. other star santaan and relatives are:
hrithik---- rakesh ka larka
esha-------- hema ki bongi si chokkri
tanisha------- kajol's sister
abhishek-- big b ka sapoot
twinkle and rinki------ dimple ki dull bateaan
and many more r coming, every film is offerd to stars' santaan in plates without their struggle and talent and in this way they r exploiting the rights of non filmi background holder new and talented people.
so what do u think about this day by day increasing star santaan and relativism mafia?

I agree Waqar bhai that star children easily get into films. The difficult thing though is to achieve stardom, which can be achieved only if one is good.

There are many star children who have failed:

Kunal Kapoor - Shashi Kapoor's son
Dev Anand's son (forgot his name)
Pratibha Sinha (Mala Sinha's daughter)

The above were total failures. Some were only moderately successful:

Saif Ali Khan (Sharmila Tagore's son)
Akshaye Khanna (Vinod Khanna's son)

There are many, however who didn't have star parents and have been highly successful

Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Sridevi, Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda.

Hrithik Roshan just happened to be Rakesh Roshan's son. Even if he wasn't, he would have attained stardom. Not only is he damned good-looking, he is also a good actor.

He is only good looking , but in reality he is a bad actor . very bad. Look at all his films he looks like an 'extra' throughout pic except some scene where he shows his best, particularly some scenes in Yaadein, Fiza. I think he needs some rest. Despite his dull perfomance i think that he can perform very well, and make his 'khandaan roshan' ;)

Siffar, the only other films Hrithik has acted apart from the ones you have mentioned are KNPH and Mission Kashmir. He had done a great job in both of them.

hi siffar,
u r absolutely right, hrithik is not that much good actor as all people suppose , i think he is much more lucky then his actual talent.
and netra, u mention non filmi background holder stars, i already mention their names and i am of the view that in near past the stars were self made but in current situation it is not the case , yes the main point is trhat thatb they get all the good films very easily so they become a hurdle for non filmi new people, their are chances and chances for them after flops, like after FLOP refugee, B I S K H , T G C G their are still chances for abhishek, after flop prem agag their were chances for fardeen , after flor refugee , yaadain, and two average films their r big big chances for kareena, but no one give even a first chance to a non filmi new talent, and if it is given and first movie is flopped, no one give them a 2nd one despite of the fact that how much talented they are.

I think Hritik is a moderate actor. Even Abhishek is a far better actor than him. But his greek-god looks & flashy dancing carried him to the top spot.

This is the case everywhere.....i.e. People enjoy advantages( of being son/daughter of a biggie ) over general people ....
