But the soldiers didn't ran away from Bombay attack :) and for your kind information,salaries were increased and Salaries were never a issue.

Government fear was that this may encourage a Millitary Take over. Even your China does this :) to keep Army in control. Thats fine. We are no Pakistan.

But recently Pranav Mukherjee's commitee has agreed to this demand,thus all issues solved :)

When you make the claims you make, atleast try to substantiate with some links. recruitment process in the armed forces is the hardest among all of govt institutions. The proof of this lies in the fact that men of our nation's armed forces are simply the best that the nation has to offer. Their have proved themselves beyond doubt and we dont need jackasses like you to accuse them without any proof! There is some amount of corruption in the armed forces mainly in supply and procurement divisions. Most of the officiers in these divisions are the ones who havent seen action in the battlefeild and tend to be more like the babus in govt. I fully agreed with you. I have seen certain section of people get a special pleasure in deriding Army for corruption. These include Pinkos,Communists,Muslims etc. For Obvious reasons anything against India and India's respectable institutions, they will love it.

One Iraq has screwed up USA. People don't know what Afganistan like situation our Army has conqueered in Kashmir. Our Army has doused North East. Srilankan's Army victory against LTTE is actually Indian Army's victory. All the tactics have been taught to Srilankan Army by Indian Army.
Indian Army has lost more than 10000 soldiers to protect us so that our Pinkos can sit in their AC rooms and pass comments on them. Indian Army has fought despite getting poor weapons,poor Bullet proofs knowing for sure Beureaucracy's apathy toward their Widows if they die in line of duty.

They are best in World and like Our Software professionsals we should respect them as they seem to perform better than their other counterparts in more hostile sitautions.
