Miss Congeniality - See it only for Sandra Bullock

Over the Christmas weekend, I went to see Miss Congeniality starring Sandra Bullock. I like her so I went to see the movie. But it was like expecting a good chocolate cake and getting just a plain cake.

Well, the story is quite predictable. Sandra Bullock is a FBI agent. The Miss America Beauty Pageant has received threats from some serial bomber. So they need to protect the contestants. Sandra Bullock undergoes a complete makeover and enters as Miss New Jersey.

After some cliched goofs and gaffes, she is successful in preventing the bombing of the pageant.


But I am sure that we will have a similar Hindi movie with Salman or Hrithik with Aishwarya or the latest Miss Universe. ;)

Not worth theatre viewing.... ideal on DVD/VHS on a lazy afternoon with nothing to do... :(

i liked the movie though. in fact i laughed more in that movie compared to "what women want"..... i think my money went a waste just to see mel gibson wear a bra. maybe its becuase i like sandra bullock that i liked the movie more...he he he...but its worth one watch .....atleast for the snorty laugh .....he he

enjoy the new year weekend...i dunno much about me as we are expecting a winter storm out here on saturday with a foot of snow...so that might keep us indoors.

that if you have seen how these Miss This and MIss that shows work... you will love to have an insiders view.

There are some really witty scenes about how every girl says she wants World Peace, etc... :D

But still its not such a great film...
