The recent cases of students paying lacs of Rs for 'false caste certificates' suggests yet another possibility---'adoption'!
Gen cat couples/families could have some dalits adopt their children, or better still, immediately after birth, have the dalit surrogates' names regd. as parents on the birth certificate.
The kids will be raised in their biological parents' home while drawing all the benefits of reservations--------and, after they are 'well settled', the biological parents can 'adopt them', and continue the family line! The dalits would obviously be getting a 'royalty' for 'leasing' their caste (one more avenue for earning without working:every reservation monger's deepest desire!)
To avoid this, the candidates must undergo DNA tests to establish their real lineage!
