Every google search should point to echarcha.com first

echarcha.com is not the first page I open whenever I come online .Google is the first page I open whenever I come online.I am generally on echarcha.com whenver I am feeling lonely and bored and that always happens when Aunty Zyzzva isn't with me .Rest of the time my online activity is occupied with searching for some information or the other on the web mostly related to my field and hobbies.Even before I access my mail account I access google or some specific site and when I am done with all that I am seeking I check and reply to mails .

What I really really want somehow is that echarcha.com should be the first site pointed to by google for absolutely any search by any inhabitant on earth with any keyword or phrase , including image and video searches.

Is it anyhow theoritically possible to fulfill my wish ?I feel yes it can be done atleast wrt to the pages in english .How can it be done is a different ordeal though .It might be a tad difficult but certainly it can't be impossible .

What do we need here on this site so as to accomplish this , I was thinking and the prompt answer that came to my mind instantly is authentic informative exact answer to the question a searcher( google searcher ) is seeking , ie basically content- Content is King .

Why do I want this to happen you might here wonder ?Well the only reason is that I want echarcha.com to be a site more successful and popular than stupid networking /community sites( as per my personal perception ) like facebook/orkut/hifi/twitter/blogging sites et al .

Before I post more ( in continuation ) I want you all to imagine first and then asnwer - that suppose this is accomplished one day , how will you all feel as members of echarcha.com?

Also how will echarcha feel as being the owner of such a popular site ?

No , there is no need to laugh upon this desire of mine .Anyone can have a desire for anything in life and just today only while I was roaming in the fields supervising the work being done , without any previous introductory thought this desire was born inside me .Since it's not within me to make changes for it to happen so I would be only providing ideas as per me ( howsoever fit or unfit they are for the materialisation of this dream of mine ) .

Offcourse I wish echarcha becomes more popular and shows up in searches, but I am worried that in our collective zeal to make this happen, we might get banned or black listed by Google. Many who have tried to rig the Google search algorithm have been black listed. Once Google shuns you, then its like you are sent to the dumpster of the internet and no one can find you.

So, the way to make us more relevant is to have really good thread titles (contextual and relevant) and include links to all stories we post here. I dont know of any other way to boost our rankings for free.

Bhailogo, I think a few of us did took the initiative, but then, it requires more than one man effort to accomplish this task. Not really the no. 1 thingy - that's stupid number to run after .. but EC can definitely become much more popular than its present state...

I had plans to start an organized 6 month SEO campaign for EC (starting this month) but unfortunately, am occupied with some other stuff these days.. But I promise, we will make EC one of the most popular general discussion forum by the end of this year :)

sirji, to become google's number 1 search item is not an easy thing. their algo is their own. and artificial attempts to fit into that algo can have undesirable results. number game ki to baat hi chhod do.

the best that can be done is to have good threads with good content, appropriate titles and very relevant tags.

Bhialogo, my suggestion would be that all the members, who are interested in the highlighted and the underlined text (as above) can try to write a short 400-500 words review on EC (preferably on LM or Super Forum - because of SEO reasons @ indexing). Once we have decent 4-5 reviews we can then use them in various article directories with a link of our forum at the end, which would definitely help in both promotion of our forum, as well as attracting targeted traffic and also some new members (active ones) in a long run :)

I am talking about bringing the site to the top of the result page of google for every search for every english keyword done on it .This is just the first of my target .My second target is to make the surfer stay here for ever like some of us oldies.I just don't want the surfer to come here just once or twice or only accidentally .I want him to land first by google and then become a permanent resident here because of what the site offers to him and not because what google offers him .He should feel something like - Aray bhen**** aisee hee toh site dhoondh raha tha mai .Yahaan aane kay baad voh Google ko bhool jaaye for his authentic information/content/knowledge.

I don't want this to happen by any unfair means ie by rigging the google algorithm or unnecessarily putting tags .My purpose is not to advertise echarcha.com on Google but my aim is to materialise this advertise - close the deed.

I hope I have explained my requirements.

As to how can we achieve these two aims should be the discussion below.Whether or not we can do it is not worth considering.Only thing worth considering is that - These two things have to be done anyhow by using absolutely fairest of the fair means ( legally ).

If meaningful thread titles alone could have done it , it would have happened longtime back .If meaningful id's , tags discussions could have done it , it would have happened long time back .The battle with the british couldn't be won by weapons and hence Gandhi resorted to a different type of weapon .Something similiar needs to be done here.

I know scores of sites - Indians , NRI , Non Indians which lack a lot in quality discussions and yet there member count , number of posts ,popularity with the general public in India , revenues all et al are far ahead of us .What do you think can be the reason .They are far more popular than our wonderful site.This gives me a feeling talent unnoticed.We need to get heard and noticed.


In a nutshell I feel that echarcha.com is leading in it's dynamic nature but lacking in it's static nature ie a dynamic content is there n the form of threads and forums but the static content isn't there and the brightest of the bright students cannot pass if he doesn't opens his book at all... like Narci in engg college , ( Jhatka now you know the reason why Narci became the uncle and then the baap later when he opened his new books in a different field )

So since our site is totally devoid of an authentic concrete static content that is something which we need to work upon first.What will that content be , what will be it's coverage is something we can discuss below and if no body else is interested in discussing it I will be doing it at my own speed and mood .( I am not in a hurry , I can wait for ages if I can wait for 11 years )

I know Cha you do not know of any other way .Had you known you would have done it overnite.Atleast you can rule out or rule in what all goes below with reasons and perspectives.One perspective might lead to another and you never know which one acts as a trigger to become a catalyst to speed up this chain reaction ....

NO , you cannot spend a penny out of it in this one year on advertising( online or offline ) and also all ads Amazon et al and all links to other sites on the main page won't go .The only thing to be offered will be echarcha.com .Paid advertisements also are not allowed , since why do you need the money from advertisements when you are being provided to uthao the kharcha of the site the way you feel like uthaaoing it .
