A request to Moderators & Admin

Please spend some extra time in moderating & censoring posts for a couple of days during this phase of 'Terrorist attacks in US'.
I have seen some inflamatory posts here today by some of echarcha members, which may hurt feelings of fellow echarchans.

We have so many good eCharchans who are proud Americans. Civil most eCharchans are but it still will take time to get over this human tragedy. Right now entire civil world is mad with anger that evil could strike at so many innocents with so ease.

Any thing we write about this isuue what happend on 11th sept is really bad. it should never had happened.But now to analyse why it happened? The answer is a bitter truth
what Americans have done to rest of other world including India. If we write the truth and if you do not like it you will definately delete it. But the truth always prevails{SATYAMEVA_JAYATE}. So any thing we write will sound like inflamatory and Sutradhar will delete it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The truth is that Americans were never on our side in the bad times.They always protected Pakis for their own advantage. Now they will realise for this.

... but India never preferred to pay back to them. You cannot forget how much India has received from USA in terms of food aid and the loans that were forgiven which could have kept India their economic slave for generations.

In return, USA did not get any support from India ever, in its fight to keep democracy and capitalism alive. Indira Gandhi preferred to side with the Soviets even after receiving so much in gratuity from the US. She issued statements agaisnt the US involvement in Vietnam and Korea. When Nixon needed help to start the China dialogue, India refused and Pak seized it like an opportunity to get close to US.

During the Gulf war, India sided with Saddam Hussain with VP Singh sending Gujral to give him the embrace which may have won him plenty of muslim votes but cost India dearly. It was not before Chandrashekhar took office that India allowed the UN planes to refuel in Bombay. India never sent a soldier to fight against Iraq, because Indian polititians are more Islamic than the Islamic states. Pakistan, even after opposition from its people did not withdraw even a single soldier.

Finally India has a government who is looking up to the US as an ally and a partner but the people in India will oppose them.

Pude everyone looks after their own arse. That is what US or everyone else does. There have been instances where US has fallen out with closest of their friends if it involved their personal interest. For instances protecting US farm exports. What are you objecting to?

Some people would say things against a person... and their bhaiyyas and langotiya yaars would bot like to see it.

So the solution is to delete anything which might hurt the sentiments??

Make it a place where everyone just do "haan mein haan" with each other.

On Echarcha the situation is.... If one is friend, he is not supposed to oppose the ideas of another "friend". Friends are supposed to write posts which support other friends point of views.

Where is the spirit of discussion and putting forward one's thoughts without such fears??

I would say, grow up. Learn to deal with things which might not always go your way. If you can't handle contrary ideas on net, how would you handle them in real life... where no moderators would be around to censor or delete.

uh huh..yea..but when India tests a nuclear weapon they put stupid sanctions on India because of nuclear threat?? and when USA tests one and has like 1000's of nuclear weapon that doesn't matter? USA just wants to be the most powerful country in the world and doesn't want anyone else to top them...so they put stupid sanctions which hurt the nations economy and their people...they do watever they want with they goddamn policies...they think they can control the whole damn world..and India has always sided with Russia..just because USA became the superpower doesn't mean that we have to lick USA's ass like you

Many of you say that India screwed up in the past.

Mind you at that time Sovite Russia was also a superpower and so was USA. The Soviet system of politics and Marxism was working.

India had just been under the terrible tyranny of East India Company - the Brits - who came here under the guise of trading and free enterprise. The lessons we learnt from this 'free enterprise' were very sacry and we were not willing to get into another capitalistic form of society at that time. Even if it proved wrong in the long run I would not immediatley put all the blame on India of then.

Today its a much different scene. India has become quite self sufficient and has seen the effects of socialism and has understood that open markets and athriving economy is what the world is all about. It is the way to progress.

Now about the recent attakcs.

When Kargil happened, I know for a fact that every Indian - whether Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, anyone.. - stood up in nationalistic pride and supported India all the way!!

Even today, the common man - specially the common Muslim - knows that all this jeehad is bull shit... Some misguided hot heads will alwys be there in India, but overal the majority of Muslims will support India in helping USA against Osama. They know that because if Osama style government came into India, these very Msulims who enjoy a just and better life in India will be thrown back into dark ages.

Look at the Indian Muslim - he/she is successful and allowed to do many things that they could nt dream of in a country like Afghanistan or Saudi or any where else in the Middle East. We have some of our top filsm stars who are Muslim, also our artists.

Do you think Zakir Hussain likes the Osama brand of Islam which wont allwo him to play his tabla???

So dont make wrong assumptions about Muslims in India.. some stray elements are present - even in Hindus like the bajrang Dal - but that does not mean that the whole basket of apples is rotten.

Its upto us as a people to root out the rotten apples.

As u know ..US is attacked by some suspected Islamic Militants ..some people here were getting tready to bash religions. So Ms. SMART WHIP ..do you think ?? we should allow this kind of posts and turn echarcha into one more dalitstan.org or an official web site of Shiva Sena or a SIMI propaganda site ?
