Sex not a taboo any more ( at least here on ECharcha)

Hi Echarchans,
Was just wondering. Sex is considered such tabu in our Indian society. But we like talking about it so much.

Here on Echarcha, i have seen so many gals come up and talk ab it so freely. That is so encouraging. 80 % of our post usually revolve under this Topic itself. Its glad to see people coming up and expressing their views on it ( especially the Ladies)

Glad to know we understand ab Sex so much and are Bold enough to Post our Queries freely here.

Deepblue, first - two or three female participent on echarcha dont represent Indian female as a whole, second -anybody can say anything with some hidden Identity, do you really know when someone say Kate to herself (of kate winslet) he might be Capriato in real ;)

Infect what I would say small percentage of urben people too dont represent India, if they say they dont think sex is a taboo anymore. Actually 80% people comes from urben background where sex is really a taboo and its seems to be going to be same for coming many many years.

no, i think this is more prevalent in the villagers of up and bihar, whom you are talking about. My mausi's doodhwala was distributing sweets to all of his customers one morning, mausi asked the occassion. he answered that vo baap ban gaya hai use beta hua hai. naturally mausi asked how is he and all usual questions the dooodhwala said nahi jee humne use abhi tak dekha nahi hai vo UP mein. mausi was surprised because the doodhwala was in the city from the last year or so, no one rememberd him going to gaanv. the doodhwala was asked about it, not in so many words, but in words like, lekin aap to yahi the...doodhwala has ke bola, to kya hua, hamre bade bhai jo hai hua gaanv mein!!!

Thanks for english correction bhai. But jokes apart one of my known person ( I am sure he may not be indulging in this ) told me that in their village lots of stuff goes on. Like they watch BF toghether & then do swapping by drawing lots. Pata nahin ho sakta hai ki I may be knowing wrong people !
