Why are porno movies called Blue Movies?.Genuine question guys.

PS: Karuna, Bahuram and Dalit dont butt in and say that it was the conspiracy of the Upper Castes to defame the Dalit movement who's flag to incidentally is Blue.:D

Blue movies originated in France. And since they were illegal they were processed underground using cheap chemicals for developing. Most of the time the chemicals were re-used from photographic shops. This led to them having a blue tinge.

Unfortunately, they continued to be called blue films even with the advent of digital life like cameras.

Yup that was funny.. even now the protocol exists I heard.. nothing has to be said.. even if a parichit is visiting the same store.. dheere se namaste kar do.. kaam pura ho jaata tha including stuffing it in a brown bag.

i am amazed that no one knows the exact answer for the name blue films. actually the word is blue print films and you all know that blue print means the naked or posterior structure for example blue print of a building you can also see the meaning of the word blue print in the dictionary and you will filnd the meaning as naked or raw structure ans as these movies are naked and the people act (obviously sex act) in these films are in their raw (naked ) form, therefore these films are called blue print films.
