You can't know what is ugly until you have seen something beautiful:D:D...but again beauty is in the eye of beholder:D
So, please click here and you be the judge:D

What the heck?? I wasn't trying to win a contest.....these were shot with a CANON Powershot 550 digital camera...a simple point a click camera...
shot at scenic spots on the road...
Btw..Im sure there are several pros who have shot Yosemite...apna batao na!!
Here are some pics from Yellowstone National Park....saw some bears in the wilderness during a trek and a couple of bears crossed the road in front of us...

No, that is your implication not mine... but you can't expect everyone to say nice pics when they are not... I am able to see at least 3-4 things which hhmd could have done to improve the shots :D:D

Make sure that your recommendations include tips on how to take pics while having an 18-month old baby dangling on one hand and a diaper bag across the other shoulder.

ok suggestion no 1, to improve your shots next time around..
When you have babies and diapers dangling from the shoulders leave the camera to your wife, never be a snob and try to do everything yourself.

Wifey say "I don't care about your stupid camera or photos!! Just enjoy the moment and let's move on! DONT DROP THE BABY!!!"
How am I supposed to respond?

Then you should have asked your child probably:D.....you never know it might get better pics than what you have posted above(not that your pics are that bad;))...
And see Hurry......in the bear-road-crossing pic a guy is shooting you....you can get into trouble for careless parenting....remember Michael Jackson/Britney fiasco....

The Yellowstone National Park pics are before I had a kid....
Considering that I took the Yosemite pics during a 6.7 richter, I think they turned out ok....also Bush had raised the terrorist threat level to RED. So I stayed away from vantage points.

Great pics... I visited Yosemite this week-end.
I agree with you HHMD, its very difficult to take snaps when you have simple camera and have baby in your lap who is not interested in looking at rocks or landscapes.
Not everybody is expert photographer and photography is not everybodys hobby. These pics are just to show how the place looks and I think HHMDs pics convey how they look. If place is beautiful, even worst taken photo will still look good.
Now please for gods sake, dont start arguments even in photography section

i am not encouraging people with musical farts to post their audio clips either am i? both are equally disgusting :vomit:
No, that is your implication not mine...
And how so? do u think regular family people on a trip care about manual settings in camera and other what nots of photography?
Most of them just want to capture the moment and share with friends.

First thing I will do upon retirement is write few books ... first one will be for young guys like you who don't know how to turn an ordinary woman in to a model wife. Men like you get married ... no preparation, no practice, no experience ... start spoiling wife from the day of marriage and with some men even before marriage not realising that a spoiled wife is like a burnt tandoori roti.
HarHarbhai ... no offense ... with all due respects to Babhiji ... let me see now ... YOU hold precious baby darling ... you hold bag of diapers ... you hold the camera ... you take the pics ... YOU do everything. What about Babhiji? Does not she deserve to be given her share of responsibilities? Men like you still live in 12 the century ... you got no respek for women. Women are smart ... educated and bright just like us men.
I bet you are the Indian who let wife walks 30 feet behind ... I see Indians like you in the mall ... last one I saw was holding a long rope with other end tied to wife's wrist so she does not get lost behind him.

Arey madam, shaant... :D ye bhi dekhiye hum kiss bandey sey deal karr rahe hain.. he asks help sounding genuine and then makes fun of the people who help him... thoda isko mirchee lagaayi tho kya hogaya...
and as amtha bhai pointed out he is again trying to fool us showing photos that he didn't shoot in the first place...
in photography timing is most important... and I do take majority of my photos with auto settings where action is important and only for scenaries/flowers/buildings etc I tweak the manual settings... but here also one can ensure things like proper cropping/zoom, not too much sky or bright background which can dim the subject etc...

wtf is up with all these conspiracy theories?? These are obviously my pics...
The Yellowstone pics were shot with an Pentax SLR camera (not digital snaps) taken a few years ago...when I had the time and inclination to take pics. Here are some more of Yellowstone.
First is Old Faithful geyser....the main tourist attraction of yellowstone
Second is the Grand Prismatic... a volatile geological formation...
Cascade falls consist of limestone geysers...wierd looking landscape
The fourth is another pic that didnt turn out good displaying the bear cubs playing with mama bear...

:D Deva tell the truth...I believe all most all are taken by you.... but that bear cubs crossing road looks very old picture(at least 7-8 years or even more)...reason--- all cars in the picture are old models.

I went to Yellowstone in 2004 july 4th weekend. Flew to Salt Lake City and drove to Yellowstone for 4 nights - 5 days.
Bear sightings are not all that uncommon at Yellowstone. I saw bears on 4 different occasions...spotting Alaskan wolves in the wild is rarer...but I did sight one.
All pics are mine....

:) O.K .......No more doubts......I trust you. All pictures are nice...now I want to visit that place soon...specially after knowing that you get to see live animals roaming naturally free in nature.

Guess why bear cubs are crossing the road?
Because they want to avoid HHMD.
Why?
Because HHMD will torture them with his endless Mahapralayam tales:D
