India has the second largest number of Muslim population only after Indonesia, hence it should be allowed to become a member of OIC.Pakistan's voice become very excited at the seminanar of Muslim countries as it has more confidence in its Arab Masters than in itself.
India fully qualifies to not only become a member but a leader of OIC countries.Muslims in India enjoy considerable positions, they are in every field politics,Movies,Cricket etc.
Although there has been some stray incidents like demolition of Babri Masjid etc.But in the history of a big nation some incidents of theese kinds do happen. What is important is that Indian people have learned a lot from this and there has been hardly such incidents after 1993.So theese could be considered as a temporary outburst of emotions.
Muslims have become even more safe under the regime of so called "Hindu Nationalist " government.
So more or less Muslims are on a path of progress in India, although the process has been slow but more or less they are happy with india except those who are bugged by
the 'kashmiriyat" and 'zehadi' disease. They are incurable disease and there is no cure for them.
So above points should qualify India as a member of OIC.We can then counter the false propanda of pakistan

Guys,

Once under Indira Gandhi, we DID send a representative - our president, Zulfiqar Ali Ahmed. He was refused entry (tho politely). Indian Muslims in Bombay and Hyderabad were so happy, they celebrated by bajawing fireworks.

Truth!

Dear Mr. Rakhwala,

I am Iqbal Firdost, a friend of Shringarey, and I am writing on his ID as I do not have my own.

Muslims Bajawing crackers when Fakhruddin Zulfiqar Ali Ahmed was refused entry in OIC
--------------------------------

Did India Apply for OIC? : True
Did FA Ahmed go there? : True
Was he the President then?: True
Was he refused? : True
Did Muslims bajaw crackers: True

BUT THAT IS NOT THE WHOLE TRUTH. THE WHOLE TRUTH is this:

To be a member of the OIC, you have to sign a statement that India treats ALL Muslims equally. FA Ahmed was going to sign the statement but VP Sing objected by going on a fast. He divided the Muslims into "Upper Caste" and "Lower Caste". That is why FA Ahmed & India was refused entry. Then VP Singh collected the "Lower Caste" Muslims and bajawed crackers as a victory for Ambedkar.

Rakhwala, we can get membership ANY TIME. But one of the conditions is PARITY WITHIN MUSLIMS. We cannot have reservation for Muslims (we can have for Hindus tho) for entry into OIC. Last year the issue came 8up again, but Kanshi Ram and Paswan objected.

We have no castes in Islam - so what is this political gimmick?

Hi Shrigray(Iqblal)
I think what you are telling is right .And you seem to be well educated and broadminded person .
But I do agree with Rakhawala on Jehad and kafir Issue .
I am located in Virginia ,Washington DC is 5-7 miles away .Recently there was a demonstration against Israel by muslims .
One muslim leader (one of the highest in USA) said that " We do not belong to any nation and our only identity is that we are Islam "
He also said that "You must buy your goods from a muslim shop even if u hgave to go to 3 miles away"
This kind of menatality is only and only among Islam and
this must be eradicated .The country comes first (It is like ur mother ) and is above any releigion and caste .
In the name of Islam many illitrate Muslims
from Afganistan are converted into Millitant ,But it is very very bad when an educated Muslim has the same feeling .

Iqbal
Dont tell me that there is no Caste in Islam in india .
I know that in my state bihar there are caste.
Firstly the releigion is divided into two parts
Siya ,Sunni.
Shekh
Pathan
Julaha and etc.
I also know that certain section of muslim come under
OBC category .
One thing very good about Islam that in most of the other countries there is nothing called Caste in Islam .

Thanks

Even having second largest muslim populas country, OIC is not going to give membership to India, as they are totaly religion based organisation. India is a secular country, it does not qulify for OIC keeping their rules in mind.

However if India get a chance to pentrate in that organisation, their is no harm in doing that, but that will chage the philosphy of OIC, hence a new begning for world, may be.

Guys,

Do you know why we are hated by OIC? Because of GAT4. GAT4 ie Group of Anti-Terrorist Countries is a group of 4 nations working together to fight Terrorism (India, Israel, US and Russia). Since these 4 countries CIRCLE the Gulf terrorists from 4 sides, they are insecure. They fight this way :

i) Support Palestine to keep Israel engaged
ii) Support Kashmir to engage India
iii) Support Chechnya to keep Russia occupied
iv) Senseless bombs on US embassies to occupy US.

Till recently, they never bothered about India so much. Now they do because of :

i) India buying Oil from China & Venezuela and Oil exploration in Assam makes it less vulnerable to an Arab Oil Squeeze
ii) IT exports makes India less dependent on Gulf jobs
iii) Rising growth in India increases its strike capability
iv) Assertive Hinduism makes them difficult to be taken for a ride.
v) Independent and slowly getting strong Ambedkarism means inability to use divide-and-rule. Indian Muslims turn to Mulayam Singh instead of Mullahs. In case they are disenchanted they go to Kanshi Ram
vi) The 4 nations are emerging as a great tecno-power-house.

This is why anger on India and all the lafda.

India is a secular country. India on it's own cannot be a member of OIC.

In fact India cannot do anyting in the name of religion or else....

If an Indian personally wants to be a member of OIC (if he can do that) that's his call.
