ever been a speed freak?

anything ever happened, any experiences that caused you to slow down in life? amazing how some events can change the taste and outlook... always wanted to get there fast. having ridden fast enuf to breathe the dust, having tasted ones own blood... suddenly somethings change the desires... prolly for good. enjoying the destination is not that important anymore. rather it's the path you want to enjoy.

any such experiences?

yeah mate...happened so many times... i wanted something i didn't have....wanted it fast..... came so close, i could touch it... could smell it....could taste it.....but then came the turns.... it faded in front of my eyes.....i reached out and it slipped thro' my fingers like sand..... tears blurred my vision.... mucus choked my voice.....
