how to add commentary and merge MP3's??

ok..so i was planning to do a gulzar thing by adding my commentary and appending songs (MP3's) and make the entire thing into a 90mins (say) musical treat for my GF..:angel:

now i need a software for this adventure....do u guyz know any "free' stuff available to do this...i dont want to remix or jazz things up...itz plain commentary before a song n a single ..continuos ...compilation...;)

ur help will be highly appreciated :)

p.s- any way wherein the music can go in backbround and commentary goes along wid song...kinda remix..

Not a high-end saaftware but will do the job of mixing.;)

You can add a track in front, between, at end etc...etc...fade....add gap...kinda things.;)

yaar main thing hain ki commentary add karni hain...soundforge is good..but basically i think remixing k liye hain..i mean filhal main desibaba ka woh video download kar raha hoon...says 19hours lega (1.2 kbps ka download speed mila hain GPRS connection k thru :D )..

u take ur time...aaraam se...aisa dhoond k do jis se mera kaam ho jaaye....plzzzzz...is wekend ko yahi kaaam karna hai :)

bhaijaan...downloading server ko gaali mat do...here connection speed sucks...i have connected it thru my cell phone (GPRS)..n speeds are abysmal..enuff to check mails/messenger n light browsing :(
