Now that the TFT's are damn cheap and have improved a lot in performance ,is there anyone here who still prefers using a CRT ?

If yes which CRT( size , company , model , specs ) and whats the reason for your preferring it over a TFT .

Also what was your reason ( apart from being space friendly , looks , fashion et al for switching to a TFT ?

Isn't something worth discussing but I am just curious to know .

the CRT that i use at home for work is a 21 incher, 1999 made(brand name ka pata nahi) has a better resolution than my laptop(my laptop has a resolution of 1200 X 1600 )(This one i got it from my cousin's office sale. as far as i remember the CRT was used like 6 months or so for CAd design.
I use this CD as a second monitor for my home desktop. :D

for CAD/Cam crt bada size samajh may aata hai but for other usual ( not so vividly graphic) work , using a CRT doesn't have any advantage over a TFT .Today TFT's have response time of as low as 4 ms ( unlike the past ) so action lagging while playing games or watching movies et al is no longer a phenomena .

But I have LCD's both here(laptop for all apps except biz's) and home.

But have 7 CRT's at work computers. No choice. :D
