If you have observed the trends in TV ratings in the USA over the last thre or four years you will notice that initially reality shows were a huge success. Then the fad died and crime based shows took center stage. Even today crime based dramas like CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Criminal Minds, NCSI, Law and Order, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and many such shows are a hit!
I wonder why so many crime based shows are lapped up by the audience? CSI was such a hit that they spawned the Miami and NY version. The same with Law and Order.
I dont like reality shows at all, and I have started paying attention to Criminal Minds and CSI sometimes. Even I am hooked to these shows. I dont know why!!

Saala popat ho gaya!!! What the heck!! The episode was really gaining steam but I did not know they have a second season planned! Shit.. new episodes now in March 2006!! Come on.. They should have ended it like "24" i.e. one theme ends in one season... :(

Exactly my feeling, now we have to wait till March to figure out if the pipe will come off or no. Thats ridiculous on the path of Fox. Either finish a series in one go or dont.
Guess they want to devote jan/feb/march for their hit shows 24 and American Idol and the rest can wait till then.
As you said chapai....total popat. :D :D :D
PS: I am waiting for 24, it really is one super cool show. Balls to American Idol.

I am a big fan of House. Although its started getting a little soapy recently - still Hugh Laurie is extremely funny.

House is great smelly. I love his synical way on life and how he treats his patients. Its also funny the way he hits on Cutty. There was a very funny episode in Season 1 about this 70 yr old lady who goes to the hospital and they keep showing her with her legs open becuase her husband was on viagra and he kept on wanting to have sex with her. It was too damn funny.

I like House too. I have been watching House and Prison Break.
I really started watching 24 only this season. Great show.
I am tired of CSI because its all the same - the dead person is not killed the way you think it is. THey come up with some other explanation. Sometimes the plots get too far fetched.
Anyway, I hope Prison Break manages to keep the steam becasue this was one show which needed a straight 24 like treatment - one story per season!
