Interesting story lifted off from TOI. Am posting a part. Complete story at the link below the message:-
Julia Roberts in Jharkhand, Russel Crowe in Uttaranchal -- only if Union Information & Broadcasting minister Sushma Swaraj has her way. The minister is embarking on a mission to the US on June 13, and it is not just the summer temperatures here that is forcing the trip.
Among her priorities are selling Indian locales to Hollywood studios, co-production of movies as well as international financing for Bollywood.

Interesting thing is that whenever Hollywood celebs come to any specific state they would have to pay obeisance to the God politician there. Imagine Jennifer Lopez talking to Laloo Prasad Yadav and Laloo Prasad's inevitable remarks on Lo's u-know-what ;)
Remember Jackson's visit to Mumbai? MJ visited Balasaheb at his residence. The next day the headlines in some tabloids were "He used my toilet ! " attributed to Balasaheb.
That was really funny :D :D :D :D

Yaar.. Govinda.. um.. what a fun person to watch on screen.. sala ab bhi us ke movie dialogues soch kar hasin aati hai.. here is one from hud kar di aap ne..
The heroine says (rather screems and given it is rani mukherjee imagine the scream really gruffy ishtyle):
Sardarji, jyaada smart ban ne ki jaroorat nahi hai
"Are ji, saari duniya ko pata hai ki pura punjaab hi smart hai" (he is disguised as a sardar when saying this and in a very heavy sikh punjabee accent).
(No offence meant to any sardarjis out there and no sardarjis were harmed during the making of that movie. And if you want to send your grudges send it to the dialogue writer of the movie.. I only laughed at that dialogue.. I did not write it.) :D

Do you guys know Govinda sometimes act serious also,Not those sterio type serious and loud Dialogues
I remember his Dialog from "Hero No 1"
When kadar says after he left karishma
KaderKhan:"Beta Mujhe maloom hai ki tu andar se Dukhi hai"
Govinda:"Andar se matalb Aaanton(Intestine) se ki fefde se"
I still laugh remembering it.
