a quick google search and I found this

=========
The Virtual Keyboard

The Virtual Keyboard uses light to project a full-sized computer keyboard onto almost any surface, and disappears when not in use. Used with Smart Phones and PDA's, the VKey provides a practical way to do email, word processing and spreadsheet tasks, allowing the user to leave the laptop computer at home. VKey observes the user's finger movements to interpret and record keystrokes and mouse functions. And since the virtual keyboard is an image projected in light, it completely disappears when not in use.

hhehehe...but u know the thing with typing is that its best used on a solid surface, i mean generally as a habit it'll be difficult to press keys on your lap or something, so used to the regular keyboard, might not be very effective except on flat surfaces...but yeah kinda very cool that u just turn on the light thingy and bang u have a keyboard...almost like a hologram!

Rightly said.
If we were to put the hologram(light keyboard) on our lap, then the middle of the keyboard, would be on the floor (thro, the gap between our thighs/legs), so if you wanted to type 'b' or g or h or t or y, etc, one would have to reach to the floor to hit the key....lol, hilarious. Ideal for flat surfaces only.
