Jesus spent years in India doing yoga!
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/963920.cms
WASHINGTON: And you thought what would Jesus Christ have to do with India? Well, if a new book by a renowned Indian guru, the late Paramahansa Yogananda, is to be believed, the three wise men who came to Bethlehem to see Christ when he was born, c
ame from India.
According to a Los Angeles Times report, the book titled The Second Coming of Christ: The Resurrection of Christ Within You claims that the three "Indian" wise men named him Isa, or "Lord" in Sanskrit.
The book further goes on to claim that Jesus also travelled to India, where he practiced yoga meditation with the great sages during his "lost years" from age 13 to 30, a time of his life scarcely mentioned in the Bible.
The book is being published by Yogananda's Los Angeles-based Self-Realisation Fellowship 52 years after his death and is compiled from his decades old speeches and writings.
It offers startling ideas about the deeper meaning of Jesus's teachings and their essential unity with yoga and consists of 1642 pages.

There has always been strong speculation about where Jesus acyually spent those 'unaccounted years'.
About ten -twelve years ago some German had written a well researched book titled "Jesus Died In India"!
Incidently, "Hazratbal" is supposed to be the hair of Jesus!

if moses can part the red sea, if hanuman can swallow the sun, if savitri, a mere mortal, can bring her very stiff husband back from no less an entity than the great yama himself, then why cannot jesus go back and forth in time? why?why? eh. why?:D

Hanumaan DID NOT swallow the sun!
The story says that once,as a baby, he was lying unattended by his mother Anjani, he got really hungry and thinking that the orange ball on the horizon was some 'fruit' he jumped towards it.
None of the Gods knew how to save the shit scared Sun,and so Indra knocked Hanumaan down with his Vajra!
So as not to suffer a ny similar embarassments because of the super duper powers of Maruti, he was 'cursed' that he will NOT REMEMBER that he had such powers unless somebody reminded him of them.
The logic being that as a baby he was all power and no knowledge and maturity--which was dangerous!
I think it was Jambuvant who reminded him of his super powers Sugreev and Co. went in search of Sita.---The details can be found in the Sunderakaand Section of the Ramayan.

bhai with regard to swallowing the sun there are no doubt many versions of the fable. but according to my recollection from childhood stories( and the link below) the consensus seems to be that hanuman did, in fact, swallow the sun and had to be begged by indra, bhrama and a whole host of other supreme beings before the mischievous little monkey released him:D
link (http://gauranga.org/hanuman.htm)
also found a link which says that hanuman did not swallow the sun and was stopped by indra just before he did

BTW does it make a difference if jesus stayed in India ??? I mean looking at our politicians today it seems their ancestors were certainly not influenced by his presence.

Because Bible is a Small Part of Vedas
acoording to author of this topic, when jesus was in India..he practised some Bhaktiyoga there...with a IndianGuru.
(during his absence from Israel to a unknown place)
and when he came back to Israel...he started preaching about BhaktiYoga(procedure how to love God).
he never suggested to create a new religion...he was basically Preaching about VaishnavDharma.::D
but after passing some time peoples misunderstood his preaching;)
So Basically Christianity is the part of Vaishnavaism...same like Sikhism, Jainism and Islam(old Shivaism){Ek Ped ki kai ek Daliyan}
but because of personal benefits,,,religious leaders divided us:smash:

Jesus was named by three shepherds who were Jews and are said to be messengers from Heaven.
Jesus could have never been in India. Why would he have to learn yoga from hindu gurus when he himself was GOD.
I am really disheartened by all these comments.

Sister tell us what is wrong with the story you told. There is major mistake in it. It proves u are not a christian and you dont know a shit about Jesus.
If what u said here is what u will preach.. then i guess u will not be spreading the bible, but your own version of some story.

First thing which I suspect is that Suhasini is certainly not serious about this whole thing...She just wants to have some fun at the expense of christianity(spelling?) and she is getting that...looks like she was kicked by some christians big time!!

Dont worry children. I am not doing anything behind anybodys back. Besides I am very happy to see that most of you know a lot about Christianity which is my Churchs mission. Spread the word of my Lord.
Most of us in our Home here have a computer. This was provided to us by a Church in Europe. This was so that we could exchange emails about our missions and accomplishments.
Mother Sheryl (the Mother Superior of our church) knows that I visit this site. Infact it was she who said why not preach Christinaity through the internet.
Many of you fell a pray to my posting. I am so glad that all of you non christians out there know so much about my religion. I am very happy that my very mission to come here and cha with you all is infact getting fulfilled. evn if I achieve one goal of mission for 2005 via Echarcha I will feel happy cause I could reach out even to the literate upper caste Hindus over here.
One request say whatsoebver you want to me, but please spare my Lord and religion.
Bless you all.

Jesus dies and goes up to Heaven. The first thing he does is look for his father, as he has never met the man before and is curious as to what he looks like, and whether or not Jesus looks like his mother or father, etc. He looks high and low but cannot find him.
He asks St. Peter "Where is my father?" But St. Peter says he doesn't know.
He asks the archangel Gabriel "Where is my father?" But Gabriel doesn't know.
He asks John the Baptist "Where is my father?" But John does not know. So he wanders Heaven, impatiently searching.
Suddenly he sees out of the mist an old man coming toward him. The man is very old, with white hair, stooped over a little. "Stop!" Jesus yells. "Who are you?"
"Oh, please help me, I am an old man in search of my son." Jesus is very curious. Could this be his father? "Tell me of your son, old man."
"Oh, you would know him if you saw him. Holes in his hand where the nails used to be, he was nailed to a cross, you know..."
"Father!!!!!" Screams Jesus.
"Pinocchio!!!!!!!" yells the old man.
