We have to rid ourselves of this cultural cringe that we all become wise as we grow old. Some of us grow old and become GERIATIC, IMPOTENT AND SENILE, and DELHI is full of those.
To let a whole bunch of them run a nation is putting a proud nation to shame.
Go deep in to it all and that has been our national burden since the day Indian voters decided that all freedom fighters deserve to become politicians. Freedom fighter do not necessarily make good politicians or good leaders. India is an excellent example.
We have to have a new generation of fresh and nationalistic politicians to take over and bring some sanity and pride.
What is the average age of an Indian politician in Delhi today?
Recall plane hijacking? We wanted to see in media (specially so on TV) a spokesperson who could convey to the rest of the world disgust and anger on this most horrendous act of terrorists. A spokesperson who could convey to the world expression of how the people of largest democracy felt of such acts. What did we get? Day after day, it was sickening to watch on TV an old man describing the whole sordid thing as if he was announcing wedding of his sasur. SORDID.
