I have noticed a change in last 5-6 years. Earlier, documentaion was considered un-kewl. 'I have it in my brain' was considered kewl. But now it sounds so kewl to document every piece of shit that you dish out. I have seen some guyz coming up with Class diagrams and Use cases, supplemented with MS Word documents, for what one wouldn't even call work.

Tip #(what's the count) : Make sure your desk is cluttered with documents. More diagrams the better.

Tip#: Act really excited and relieved everytime they come up with a patch release for Solaris or Linux or any other Unix flavor. Comment on how many problems that patch has fixed.
