Skills required, include months experience:

Minimum of at least 7-10 years of DataMart/Operational Data Stores
lifecycle application experience.

10+ years experience with Oracle Database software.

7+ years experience leading teams for large projects

Experience with Microsoft Project

project life cycle methodologies (specifically Data Mart/ODS/Data
Warehouse).

Job Description
Oracle DBA with solid system DBA and application DBA experience. Will be
working in an application support/development environment for Billing and
CRM applications. Activities include but not limited to database design,
maintain ER diagram, SQL and PL/SQL tuning, code implementation/deployment,
maintain database security, application and development support. Experience
with PeopleSoft CRM and/or Vantive are a big plus.

Senior Oracle DBA
Bachelor's degree is from a an accredited university in IS, CS, or Business, and
a minimum of 5 years Oracle DBA experience on Windows and UNIX (Sun Solaris)
platforms, preferably using Veritas High Availability tools.

Requirements:

a.. Experience tuning both purchased packages and in-house developed database
applications
b.. Demonstrated ability to automate routine DBA tasks with Shell scripting,
PERL other scripting solution
c.. Understanding of database-based web architecture
d.. Advanced knowledge of Oracle DBA tasks - preferably in Oracle 8i/9i
e.. Experience in backup and recovery of databases using a variety of tools.
f.. At least 2 years experience in performance tuning of Oracle databases as
well as SQL and PL/SQL
g.. Ability to monitor systems for capacity constraints and propose capacity
solutions.
h.. Knowledge of the creation and maintenance of Database links, triggers,
materialized views, views, user accounts, roles, etc.
i.. Participation in on-call responsibilities is expected to troubleshoot and
resolve complex issues.
j.. Proactive in the identification and resolution of database issues

Highly Desireable:
a.. Application development experience
b.. Linux Administration experience
c.. Sun Solaris Administration Certification
d.. Oracle Enterprise Manager experience
