View Full Version : Salman gets grilled "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke" by Enforcement Directoraten

Actor Salman Khan or should I say Salman "man-who-rips-off-his-shirt-at-the drop-of-a-hat" Khan has been grilled by the Enforcement Directorate regarding the nexus of Bollywood with the underworld.

MUMBAI: Film actor Salman Khan, who played the lead role in the controversial film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, was on Wednesday summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) at its office here for questioning in the case involving nexus of underworld with Bollywood.

Salman has been listed by police as a star witness in this case, being tried by a special court set up under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

Salman is the second actor after Sanjay Dutt to be grilled by ED in this case.

Noted financier Bharat Shah, producer of the film Nasim Rizvi and his assistant Abdul Rahim Allah Baksh have been booked under MCOCA for alleged links with the underworld. (PTI)

i don't understand why guys get happy when they see something bad happening to salman. he is one of the best looking males in india and i hope everything gets ok with him soon.

Baal ke naam pe ujda chaman....height mein dekho to gul mohammed ka bhai....awaaz dekho to bhaaaaaaaandiiiiii waaaaaala bhi sounds more melodious....body to mere paaltu gorillay ki bhi iss se achhi hai apni ki to main baat hi naheen karungaa....

Well atleast they are good at SOMETHING.....even if it is SOCIALISING...

Salman, is without doubt, the worst actor in Hindi films. Though at times it seems impossible, Salman is even worse than Dev Anand.

Since most Hindi films espouse, and even embrace, mediocrity, this is to be expected...bad actors are revered. The best actors in India have never been in Hindi films, and still are not.
I remember reading an interview with, the egotistical, Amitabh. After much pressure from the interviewer, Amitabh reveals that he considers Kamal Hassan to be the best actor and all around artist in Indian films. Several weeks later I read another interview with Kamal Hassan, in it Hassan says that his favorite actor in Indian films is Mohan Lal. I wonder how many Indians, non-Southern, even know of Mohan Lal.
My point being, Hindi films have always lacked a sophisticated audience. They require mediocrity and that is what they get. The few, very few, independent films that are exceptional are rejected by an audience that is incapable of anything other than escapism. In such an atmosphere, the Dev Anands and Salman Khans thrive.

MUMBAI: Bollywood star Salman Khan, along with his father, script writer Salim Khan, was on Thursday questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here for the second time this month in connection with the alleged payments received by the actor from his stage shows abroad.

"ED had summoned the father-son duo to seek clarifications from them in connection with the payments received by Salman from foreign shows," ED sources said.

The income tax department had raided his house in 2000 and came across material which indicated that he received payments from abroad.

Both Salman and Salim Khan were in the ED's south Mumbai office for over three hours, the sources said.

Earlier, Salman was questioned by the ED on May 16.

In order to avoid a possible repeat of the actor's scuffle with photo journalists when he had come to the ED office the previous time, Salman made his exit from the rear side of the office. (PTI)
