Chori Chori Chupke Chupke - good it was supposed to be that way

I just saw the Salman Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Priety Zinta starrer Chori Chori Chupke Chupke.

It was such a stupid film. Though the concept of surrogate mothers is not new, it was new in recent times for Hindi films.

Salman and Rani are married and live in a sugary sweet situtaion in a sugary sweet family. Then due to a accident Rani has a miscarriage. She cannot give birth again. This is so standard in all Hindi films.

So they decide to hire a girl Priety Zinta to bear their child. Priety is supposed to be the surrogate mother. A lot of Pretty Woman incidents are copied badly here.

And Salman gets to sleep with Priety to have the child. Haven't they heard that in surrogate mother cases, they artificially inseminate the surrogate mother with the father's sperm?

So here we have Salman boinking two females and all with the loving consent of his wife.

Then what next? As usual, the baby is born and the mother feels that its hers and she does not want to part with it. Then follow lots of mumbo-jumbo tear-jerking dialogs and situations and finally Salman and Rani get their baby and Priety walks off.

All ends well... and I was wondering why did I not flush 3 bucks in my toilet instead of renting this DVD?:rolleyes:

PS: When I was in Mumbai recently, I saw two movies - Jodi No. 1 and One 2 Ka 4

Whereas Jodi No. 1 had Govinda making me laugh with his non-sensical but total timepass comedy:D , One 2 ka Four made me really want to get out of the movie hall within the first 1 hour!:rolleyes:

Would have been a much better movie had Salman become the surrogate mother/father(you decide considering his fetish for display of his vital stats)...we wouyld have finally OVERTAKEN Hollywood

Salman did not once remove his clothes to show off his physique! It was "different" in that sense :p

No wonder that it was a waste of money.......one always hopes that his enthusiasm rubs off on the heroines......

from a quarter of the movie, it resembled a plot out of Preety Woman. It took me 4 days to ninish the movie for i couldnt sit for more than half an hour at a stretch to watch it.....songs were totally put on fast forward. Dont throw 3 bucks on renting the tape.

Arrey Bawa he had hoped to throw them on Rani and Priety but hell one got married and the other pregnant.otherwise he would have hurled chiller worth $3 at the screen whistling alongwith it.....
