Hey guys I came up w/ a recipe last night cuz my hubby was being a baby and wanted something different. Its really quick and can be served w/ noodles, rice or roti! Its "inspired" by the chinese stirfry style.

Here it goes.

Ingredients:
2 cups of dry soybean chunks wadi (I think the brand name is Nutrea or something...)
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 large red bell pepper
1 large green bell pepper
1 large red onion
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 drops soy sauce
1 tbsp pav bhaji masala (or any masala would do)
salt & red chilli powder to taste

Now, before you begin, soak the soybean chunks in warm water in a pan and cover the pan.
Julienne the onion & bell peppers. If the slices are too long, chop them in half.
Heat the cooking oil in a wok or kadhai. Throw in the onions and cook for about a minute. then add the peppers and cook for another minute or two. Now add some water to the tomato paste so that it becomes a thick sauce. Add to the wok, and stir. Then add the soy sauce and stir. Now, add the remaining seasoning and stir. If you want more gravy, add another tbsp of tomato paste mixed w/ water. Finally, squeeze out the water from the soybean chunks and add them to the wok. Stir to mix w/ the "masala" and voila dinner is done!

I had it with steamed rice and my hubby w/ some rumali rotis and it was delicous.

Do tell me if you try it & how you liked it.
